Chrisclem Posted April 16 Share Posted April 16 Hello, I wonder if anyone can help with my query. The attached photo is of my 3 x Great Uncle General Alfred Thomas Heyland CB 1813 - 1897. West Yorkshire Regiment/ 14th Buckinghamshire Prince of Wales Own Regiment. He lost an arm in the Battle of Alma. My wife wants to produce a painting of him and I am trying to find out the correct colours for his uniform, also his feathered headgear to the left of the photo. All help appreciated.
