Dancula Posted May 17 Posted May 17 This military crest is on silver dating to 1876 and appears to be 3 towers. The engraving is very worn but "Regt." is still readable. Could it be associated with Northumbria or Newcastle upon Tyne? Thank you
Marcon1 Posted May 17 Posted May 17 Hiya, Could it be this ?? Royal Artillery: 101 (Northumbrian) Regiment 3 Castles On Shield Regards, Marcon1.
Dancula Posted May 17 Author Posted May 17 It looks similar but I think the 101st Regiment Royal Artillery was created in 1967
Farkas Posted May 17 Posted May 17 (edited) My stab at it… Queens own royal regiment. Raised in 1793, redesignated Royal Dublin City Militia in 1815 later adding the title “Queen’s Own” became 4th Bn Royal Dublin Fusiliers on Friday 1st July, 1881. This example below believed to be 1870’s 👇 tony 🍻 Edited May 17 by Farkas X 2
