Hi Nacho I like your display of HJ knives!!

The display of the badges and stickpins looks great as well, what is the material made from?

Was it hard to put them on? Or how did you stick them on? Sorry for all the questions, it's to see if It would be better for me to do something similar,

    Cheers Cameron

Thanks for the comments cameroninglis, it's a normal frame wich I put a cardborad (soft one from a normal carboard  box) with a synthetic velvet glued on, so it's easy to stick them into even if they have horizontal needles

I have tried cork but is more dense than cardboard and some stickpins have their needles bent when attached, definitively carboard works better for me

Nacho, cheers for the warning, I'll give cork a miss then, it did sound like a good idea, but I'll bow to your experience, cardboards the way to go then I think, when I next buy a new frame, I'll give it a go

    Cheers Cameron

Hi Nacho, here's an interesting set of photos, I bought this knife about 40 years a go, I thought it looked like an HJ knife, it has German maker markings on the blade, with a missing diamond in the handle, one could hope, I thought, I'll let you have a look and a think, and then I'll tell you what I found out about it, cheers Cameron .

Hi Nacho, I've not got much to add you pretty much nailed it on the head, yes a scout knife

I did wonder if they'd used new old stock of blades handles etc from old HJ stock?

    Cheers Cameron

I think the same factories begun with making new knifes under new brands for a new marhet (Boy Scouts), Hubertus is the new brand of former HJ Knives maker Kuno Ritter of Solingen

    Regards
