Cambo
I've started to redo the stickpins I haven't finished yet but here's what I've done so far, I bought some polystyrene sheets then I used a small pin to make some holes in the polystyrene I then added the pins and badges, and when my new frame arrives, I shall stick the Polystyrene sheet in using some Velcro, i think it will look better, Cheers Cambo
Scowen
Very nice. Those Stadtgruppe Neukölln Kleingärtner badges are tough ones to find...
Supernaut
Nice display! Looks a lot better than early one IMO, even they are a hard to display items I think you get it! Waiting for more of these stickpins Nacho
Cambo
Hi Nacho, thank you, I had to try and find a better way of displaying them after I broke a pin off one trying to get it through the tough cotton pendant luckily I was able to reglue the stickpin and it's ok I found these polystyrene sheets and thought I'd give it a go, I pierce the polystyrene with a sharp pin and slide the badge or pin in, hopefully by Tuesday or Wednesday I should have a finished if not full display, Cheers Cambo Hi D, Thanks for the comment, I believe they are hard to find, Cheers Cambo

Supernaut
Nice stickpins! Love that blue enamel swastica, any idea what is for? The Adolf Hitler 1933 and the Volksbund in Ungarn are reproductions IMO (coffin pin!) I'm no expert at all so wait for other opinions Regards Nacho Edited July 6 by Supernaut
Scowen
Hi Cameron, As Nacho correctly states the AH & Hungarian pieces are bad, as are a few other pieces that I have discussed with you elsewhere. However, your skills with the camera have greatly improved & the pictures are much sharper now 👍
--dj--Joe
An excellent thread on the D.V.G. WESTMARK(LOTHR.) badges.
Cambo
Hi Nacho, thanks mate, yeah, I know, it's a great shame, but I'm moving onwards to replace all the fakes with better copies of the real ones, excluding the fantasy pieces, cheers Cambo Hi Don, cheers mate for your input, it's been invaluable, and you've taught me so much in a short space of time along with other members of the forum and I really appreciate it, so thank everyone for their contribution and hopefully more interesting conversations in the future, I'm glad my photos are a lot better, that was the aim, Cheers Cambo

Supernaut
Everybody has been cheated not one, but several times! So don't worry too much (except for the money wasted) and keep bringing these nice stickpins! Cheers Nacho
Cambo
Hi Nacho, yeah, it's a real pain, but it's all part of the learning curve, thanks for the comment, I'll continue to get new badges and pins, I'm into it now, all other memorabilia is now redundant, lol, Cambo
--dj--Joe
C, In my opinion you are doing well. I started collecting in the 20th. century. 😉 Even though reproductions were produced soon after the end of WWII There were many reproductions produced between then and now, the 21st. century. 👨🦯 How well I wonder would I have done starting out now? We have all I imagine, had our share of "not what it's cracked up to be". --dj--Joe
