hoh1851 Posted July 31 Posted July 31 Hello, I am still new on the field of Soviet awards so I am still learning. I got this OG3 for my collection and just want to make sure that this is a genuine piece. Number 531472 should be an award around 1945 if I am not mistaken. Opinions appreciated. Many thanks in advance! Best regards hoh1851
Leaftree Posted August 1 Posted August 1 Looks like a well worn original to my eye. I do notice the line in the window which to me indicates a type 8 but the serial number should be a type 9 according to the Mondovor site. https://mondvor-narod-ru.translate.goog/OSlava3.htm?_x_tr_sl=ru&_x_tr_tl=en&_x_tr_hl=en-US
hoh1851 Posted August 3 Author Posted August 3 Many thanks for your additional opinions. That is good to hear. Best regards hoh1851
Konstantin Posted August 16 Posted August 16 100% genuine piece! In the nearest range of numbers could be both combat and wound awards. If you discover the name, the motivation may be available at https://podvignaroda.ru/?#tab=navHome
