GM1 Posted August 28 Posted August 28 I'm pleased to present my book, published on the occasion of the XVII European Conference for Phaleristics in Brussels (31/05-02/06/2024). It covers all Belgian official honorary distinctions for the First World War, some service insignia as well as a few unofficial distinctions that were nevertheless tolerated. In chronological order of foundation date, with photos of the orders and medals, variants, certificates and images of people bestowed. If interested, please contact me through DM. Best regards, GM1 4
Megan Posted August 29 Posted August 29 Looks interesting and beautifully presented. Is it available as PDF or dead tree only? How much does it cost? And would you like a review on Medals of the World?

Megan Posted August 29 Posted August 29 OK, thanks. Once you have sold your initial print run, please consider a PDF/Print-on-demand model - it prevents all the wonderful information you have gathered going out of print and being lost! It's also easier to update as new information comes to light 🤓 1
JohanH Posted August 31 Posted August 31 It is a very nice book with alot of information and photos! I highly recommend it for everyone interested in medals and orders from Belgium! How many copies did you print?

Megan Posted October 5 Posted October 5 Finally got round to writing a review! It's at https://medals.org.uk/reviews/review016.htm but I shall go put a copy in the appropriate place on here (and elsewhere...). 1
GM1 Posted October 5 Author Posted October 5 Thank you so much Megan!!! For sure I’ll try to make a print on demand version. And have it corrected by a native English! Deadline did not allow it best regards Wim

Megan Posted October 14 Posted October 14 Wim, do you have any copies left? I posted a copy of my review on the OMSA website and someone asked where he could buy the book. What is the postage to the US (I think that's where he is, but no point in asking until I know if there's a book you could send him!)?
GM1 Posted October 14 Author Posted October 14 Hi Megan, Yes, Some copies still available. Cost to USA included shipping is 115USD. Thanks and best regards Wim
Megan Posted October 15 Posted October 15 (edited) OK, I have passed the information on to him. Edited October 15 by Megan
