Egypt ?

Hello,

I have found in one shop this medal. It is described as Egyptian medal of military cooperation. Can somebody explain what is it? Translation? Ribbon?

Jan,

 

I think the obverse reads, "Trade Fair, Cairo Egypt", and the reverse reads, "Republic of Egypt, July 1957". Accordingly not an official medal for wear but a souvenir piece.

Interesting to note it has an old style hawk with the royal crescent and stars from the early years of the Republic.

I think the hawk is the obverse and the workers the reverse.
