janjan Posted May 21, 2006 Posted May 21, 2006 Hi What are the meanings about this Spanisch pilot wing made by Maybauer Berlin
Scott Posted May 21, 2006 Posted May 21, 2006 (edited) Wow - that's a beauty. Spanish pilot wing made by a German company, probably as a replacement for a German Pilot. These wings were often earned by German pilots flying in the Spanish Civil War, and some continued to wear them on their Luftwaffe uniforms into WWII (and afterwards). I believe the crown on those wings is the 1936-1975 type.Cheers.Scott Edited May 22, 2006 by Scott
