19th manchester regiment

I am trying to trace my great uncle who served with the Manchester regiment(b coy 19th service batallion)PTE J Smith 12798 kia 31/7/17 around the crab crawl tunnle area.I have very little info just a wallet and a few letters,Looking for any info.can any one help please.

i am sure i can get you some more information on him and a photo as well if you like

he was actually in E coy, certainly when he volunteered anyway, in platoon 17

how odd...you'd think if someone was looking for info on their family and was offered a photo and more information, they'd snap it up
