I have the ribbon of this award and I'm looking to determine it's value (I was told it's very rare), could anyone help me?

its a non common decoration for sure - but the value is hard to tell, as there is only a small amount of collectors which are specialiced in these.

so my guess for an undamaged one would be between 100.- and 300.- euro (you just need to find the buyer for it who is looking for one - but this might take a little time)

Indeed, I was told that the ribbon of my 1870 vicory medal belong to the Oberschleisen Verdeinstkreuz.

No, black and white is a generic Prussian patriotic associations 'all sorts" ribbon, just as green and white for Saxony, blue and white for Bavaria and so on. There are thousands of local music, veterans, gardening, et cetera societies that used this type of ribbon for decades.
