No that case was for the German merit cross series . The only case that was made for the 1957 KC was the one similar to the WW2 version .

Thanks for confirming this. Have seen the German merit cross boxes and I have 3 different types of -57 KC boxes (WWII types) but had to check....

I wish someone would dedicate a hole book to -57's !!!

I,ve been thinking about doing a book on 1957 awards but i,m simply too busy at the moment .

Your right this area of German history does need a dedicated book , there is a couple of books out there but they are basic and hard to find .
