Gulf and Kuwait MedalDate: 03 June 1991Award Criteria:Awarded to all members of the Canadian Forces who served in the theatre of operations between August 02, 1990 and June 27, 1991 for a minimum of 30 days cumulative service or who had served during actual hostilities for at least one day between January 16, and March 30, 1991. A bar was awarded to all those who served during hostilities for at least one day. The bar has a silver maple leaf at it's center. 4,447 medals were awarded, including 3,195 with bar.
