meyer
I was wondering if there are collectors around here that have kriegsmarine display's with the blue uniform, like the collani or pea jacket. I would love to see some. Regards Jasper

meyer
Fantastic Eduardo!Really like the peajacket, haven't seen one before with a sch?tzenschnur. And your collani is also very nice. Is it a HJ one? Offcourse the others are fantastic to, but as a student, still a bit over my budget.Could you tell me what insignia is on the peajacket, and what the sch?tzenschnur is for?Thank you for your post, great.Regards Jasper
KM-SPAIN
Jasper thanks for your kind words. The collani is for a marinehelfer, with the cuffband and the HJ emblems. The peajecket is for a seeman officer, and the aguilette is for an Admiral adjudant. This is not very usual in this high graduation, but it came with the tunic and loooks original for it. meyer
Eduardo do you also happen to have the normal km blue shirt? Don't see those very often.Regards
KM-SPAIN
Meyer, this is waiting to complete a junior NCO landding uniform. As you say, not very easy to find as the white one.
meyer
Very nice Eduardo. Haven't seen one in the last year that i liked. I do have a question, aren't there several types of these shirts? Cause i have also seen them like the Ralf Lauren polo's . The flap on the back is longer then the one on the front. Hope you know what i mean. KM-SPAIN
All blue shirts are basically with the same stile, and only differed in the collar close system. On the soulders you can find a back flap of the same cloth, like the blue flap in the white shirts. Is this what you mind?.
meyer
No that's not what i meant. On the attached photo i drawed what i meant with the flap on the back that is longer. It isn't the case with this shirt but what is red, would be longer with the shirt that i meant

Paul R
Great stuff, Guys!Eduardo, Can you please give me a closeup of the marksmanship lanyard? I have never seen a complete one before.RegardsPaul
KM-SPAIN
Meyer, now I undertand what do you mind. The cut of the shirt is the same in the front than in the back, but usualy looks like the front is shorter than the back, but has to be the same.Paul, a closeup of the marksmanship lanyard. Paul R
That is an awesome lanyard. I cannot believe how incredibly rare they are. I have only seen two, and they did not have any badge on them.Paul
Guest Rick Research
Ahhhhhh. Are there name labels on any of those officers' jackets?
meyer
Very nice lanyard! So both the front as the back should be the same. There is thus no shirt ww2 period that has the front shorter then the back. Glad i know cause there isn't that much information about these shirt.Regards Jasper
KM-SPAIN
Ahhhhhh. Are there name labels on any of those officers' jackets? Rick most of them are named. The official frock coat has the label from the Ofizierkleiderkasse of Wilhemshaven, with the name ?Reg. Rat Dr. M?ller? and the date ?22.11.38?.M?ller. Now I have only this picture of other tunic (Mecanic Oberleutnant), I hope you can find him. Next time I move the uniforms I will check the other labels. Thanks for all. Guest Rick Research
Regierungsrat Dr. M?ller I do not think was in the navy during the Reichsmarine period-- it may be he was a technical specialist signed upfor the new Wehrmacht at fairly advanced rank.In 1936 he was on the staff of the Verwaltungsressort of Marinewerft Wilhelmshafen.Schall was born 21 October 1903. The 1924 navy Rank List, most peculiarly, shows birthdates, but not first names!!!Crew 1922 for him--F?hnrich (Ing) 1.4.24Oberf?hnrich (ing) 1.4.26Leutnant (Ing) 1.7.27Oberleutnant (ing) 1.4.29 #1--in 1931 he was Leitender Ingenieur of 1. Torpedoboots Halbflotille.NOT in the navy 1936, or in the Naval Engineers Association 1938. Disappears!!!!!

KM-SPAIN
Hello all, our friend Jasper (meyer) has asked me about the eagles that were used by junior NCOs a sailors with the collani or the officer eagles used in the peajackets. In the first you have differents models and materials, bevo, machine cotton enbroidered, hand embroidered celleon , ... so you have many different eagles, with different makers. the officer ones, in hand embroidered gold wire or celleon, as many models as tunic makers and embroiderers. To distinguish original from fakes, check the material, the back side, the finish, ..., and the experience to have look in your hands as many as you can.I hope this helps. Some examples for NCO and sailors. meyer
Thank you very much Eduardo. Why i ask this question, is cause you have eagles, original ones, that i think look like crap. I think you all have seen the eagles with the thin neck/head. Thou original, wenn i first saw them, i thougt it was crap. This is just an example. If others have eagles to add, i would love to see them.Regards, Jasper
