Kev in Deva
2. British Order of Bath 3. Romanian 4. Russian Order of st. George IV Class Many thanks for the above identification:- With regards number 2, I believe its official designation to be:- Knight Commanders Badge, Neck badge (Military) a star with a gold Maltese cross omitted, and in the shape of a cross pattèe, the three crowns and the motto in the centre surrounded by a green enamelled laurel wreath. Holders of the K.C.B. wear a neck badge suspended by a ribbon as well as a breast star. Number 3 is the Romanian Order of MIHAI VITEAZUL / Michael the Brave. Kev in Deva
This is a very interesting medal bar:- to ARMY CORPS GENERAL NICOLAE SAVA GENERAULUI DE CORPS DE ARMATA NICOLAE SAVA COMANDANTUL CORPULUI 7 ARMATA. http://www.generals.dk/general/%C5%9Eova/Nicolae/Romania.html 1. Romanian Order of the Star on Military Virtue ribbon. 2. Romanian Order of the Crown, on Military Virtue ribbon. 3. Romanian Order of the Star on Military Virtue ribbon. 4. Imperial Russia Order of Saint Ann. 5. Romanian Officers Military Service Medal for 25 Years. 6. Romanian Service Medal for the 1913 Balkan Campaign 7. Romanian Commemorative Cross of War, with campaign bars:- "ARDEAL" - "CARPATI" - "BUCARESTI" - "TARGUL-OCNA" - "1918" 8. Romanian Service Medal for the 1913 Balkan Campaign 9. Romanian Commemorative medal for King Carol 40th Anniversary. There is no justification / reason for him having two 1913 Balkan Campaign Medals on his bar is this an early case of "padding out" Looking at the bar, its obviously lacking a Romanian Inter-Allied Victory medal for WW1 which would have fitted nicely in the place of the second 1913 Balkan Campaign Medal. tsarenko1975
To Gen. Nicolae Sova medal group. On my mind, ribbon of St. Anna 3rd Cl. with swords must have bow. Order this class was given, generally, low-rank officers. May be, 1918 -1919 period awarded?
