order_of_victory Posted April 25, 2006 Posted April 25, 2006 Kevin,You are correct the first item is a Voroshilov Marksman badge heres the link to a similar item on Collect Russias website.http://www.collectrussia.com/DISPITEM.HTM?ITEM=13394. The one collect Russia is higher level than yours, still a nice badge The next two items im not sure about Item number 4 is The Order of the Badge of Honour Type 4 Variation 2. This medal was awarded for Labour Achviements in the USSR.Order of Victory
Guest Rick Research Posted April 25, 2006 Posted April 25, 2006 The OSOAVIAKhIM shooting badges were for the same civilians "readiness" as the various civil defense and medical prepardeness badges. The screw nuts are usually lost, so you've got a keeper there.I'd say from the materials and construction as well as design (antennae etc) the "1939" badge is much much later and must be an anniversary badge for the school founded in that year.
