    1. Excellent 41.-45. partisan and JA collection. Wish I had just half of what you have:love:
    2. Excellent find and very unusual (to say at least) combination. Congrats:D
    3. No problem, glad you have it also, very few boxed medals are to be found on the market or in collections. Thank you for mentioning my name glad to have something together and among all the beauties from your collection. Regards
    4. I would have written something on russian forum, but my Russian is non existent, so I mention it here, in English, I am sure that Anatoly will correct that mistake as soon as he reads this topic.
    5. Hello everyone. I just wanted to say that on sammler.ru there is also a picture of my medal, and listed under catalogue of Jugoslav medals, without mentioning who owns it. So, it is not all black and white as I can see, not only on WO people take other peoples pictures without listing whose they are, here is a link, picture of Burma in box on the middle picture is in my collection, link: http://sammler.ru/in...picture&id=2369
    6. That is very useful information. Thank you very much Mister No I have 3 different Orden za vojne zasluge III. red, medals, and 4 different cases, I ll post some pictures tommorow.
    7. I must agree with Luka, this could never be official, someone was playing with this ribbon, pics of the back side would help in solving this.
    8. Sa?aYu I asked he family members today and they said with 100% certaintly, because they remember the time he got it, that both Orders for Military Merit 3rd Class are from the same person. He received the first model during 1950's and the other newer with 6 torches in after 1963. because he was entitled to this new model too. He was said that he should only wear this with 6 torches but did not have to return the 5 torches type. This for me solves the problem of these two orders
    9. I can assure you Sa?a that it is from the same man because it all came from the same family and only this man was in the army from that family. But, this is not strange because one model is earlier from 1950's and other is late from 1960's while he was still in active duty. One is with 5 torches and other is with 6 torches. I see no problem with that.If they could have 2 models, early war Russian and late Yugoslav and wore them together on the uniform, of Bravery order and medal, why is this unsure. Unfortunately I could not show you the docs because the family does not want to give the name to public for now, but I saw them.
    10. Yes, it is hard to say if I will get the award documents in some years to come, but I'll keep my eye on them and they will most certainly rejoin the medals themselves. Unfortunately, I did not manage to get all the boxes, but if they are still out there somewhere and are found they too will come. Cheers Ulsterman
    11. Here is a small set of medals which was given to me by a close family friends, It belonged to their father who was in the Partisans since 1943. and retired in 1963. All the award documents are still in their possesion and preserved but the family understandably did not want to give them away for now, but in the future who knows Hope you like it.
    12. I must dissanpoint you, there is no award doc, or I would have seen or had it. That is certain.
    13. The family story behind the medal is this. The brother of my grandfather was a radio oprating officer on board the Titos yacht Galeb, and he went with him on his trip to India and Burma, I have some pictures from that trip, some of them Titos. But, it is a funny story because that same cousin of mine was also the radio operating officer onboard the yacht of the last Jugoslav prince and later king Paul II.as a officer in the Royal Yugoslav Navy, after the war broke out in Yugoslavia in 1941. he joind the newly formed Croatian navy, Indenpendent State of Croatia Navy, and served there untill 1945. Then he joined Yugoslav navy, he had quite an interesting life, and he was a seaman all his life, form as early as 1932. untill late 1960s. I am sad that he died long before I was born.
    14. Hello to you all . I know that you all like the medal. It is the best thinh that I posses concerning Yugoslavia, and it is form my family which makes it invaluable. Brother of my gradpa received it. As a officer on Titos yacht. Where can I find ome more information about the medal, this number of 1200 awarded, where it cones from. And have you ever seen one of these for sale, complete one, and which is the price, if it can be calculated (I am sorry but I ma not selling it, probalbly ever)
