    1. Gents, The 4xBM winner seen in posts #126 and #142 is P. A. Oleynik. Regards, slava1stclass
    2. Gents, Currently available at a well-known NYC-area dealer. A single/loose OGII as issued to a Full Cavalier. Price: $1,200.00. There is an interesting backstory here. The OGI to this same Full Cavalier was stolen from another well-known NYC-area dealer back on August 8th, 2002. Last I knew, the stolen OGI was never recovered. At that time, the dealer offered a $100,000.00 reward for the recovery of the orders, medals, antiques and coins stolen during the armed robbery. Regards, slava1stclass
    3. Gents, This screwback OL is currently available on the well-known auction site. Current bid has it at $990.00. Regards, slava1stclass
    4. Gents, This Full Cavalier of the Order of Labor Glory (FCOLG) set is currently available on the well-known auction site. Current bid has it at $3,000.00. Regards, slava1stclass
    5. Gents, The OGI seen in post #442 above sold for $6,000.00 at the New York Sale auction held on January 8th, 2014. Regards, slava1stclass
    6. Gents, A more contemporary image of quint BM winner, S. M. Zolnikov (posts #4 and #8 above). Regards, slava1stclass
    7. Gents, Another nice shot of the unidentified quad BM winner seen in post #126 above. Regards, slava1stclass
    8. Gents, A great image of an unidentified Guards Artillery Colonel with a nice mix of top-end Soviet orders and a U.S. Army-awarded Legion of Merit in the degree of Legionnaire. Regards, slava1stclass
    9. BLUF: This appears to be a legitimate Category 7 (see post #1 this thread) Full Cavalier set. Ferdinand, I can confirm the serial numbers as accurate for the OGI and OGII. OGIII s/n is also likely good as its first four numbers correspond with Soviet archive material. As for the orders themselves, both the OGI and OGII look good to me. Other than the s/n discrepancy (which I think is likely an admin recording error in his archive paperwork), the OGIII also looks good. JapanX, You are correct. He was erroneously awarded two OGIIIs. One of his two OGIIIs was exchanged for his OGI (s/n 2311) on August 19th, 1955. Regards, slava1stclass
    10. Gents, As JapanX notes, a great number of Full Cavaliers were erroneously awarded extra OGs. Based on extensive research I've conducted for my planned book on Full Cavaliers, the number is significantly higher than 29. I plan to include this as well as other heretofore unknown Full Cavalier facts and statistics in my book. Regards, slava1stclass
    11. Gents, Available at auction during the January 9th, 2014 "The New York Sale." Opening bid is set at $7,500.00. Regards, slava1stclass
    12. Gents, Another example of dark patina found near/around the eyelet. It's not as uncommon as one would think. Regards, slava1stclass
    13. Gents, That was certainly the case for this recent well-known auction site "beauty." Regards, slava1stclass
    14. Gents, See post #362 above. He's currently listing it as an open auction with no reserve. Opening bid is $9,500.00. Regards, slava1stclass
    15. Gents, Yet another example of the nasty "gold check" slice on the lower right star point. Sad indeed. Regards, slava1stclass
    16. Gents, A very nice close up of the Legion of Merit in its highest degree - Chief Commander - in wear. Regards, slava1stclass
    17. Gents, A tight little shot group with the U.S. Army Distinguished Service Medal as its anchor. Regards, slava1stclass
    18. Gents, Kicking this to the front to join its Double Nakhis neighbor thread. Regards, slava1stclass
    19. Gents, A nice example of a jump log recording jumps from balloons, Li-2 and AN-2 aircraft. Regards, slava1stclass
    20. Gents, An exceptionally crisp image of Maj Gen V. G. Vasilyev's 200+ jump wings. Image dates to November 3, 1954. They don't get much sharper than this. Regards, slava1stclass
