    1. This sabre is in my family for generations. It looks like a M1811, but the bottom on the sheet is different. the only marking that I can find is the number 19 on the hilt. Thanks, Hardy [attachmentid=30627]
    2. Verleihungsurkunde for the Fallschirmsch?tzen-Abzeichen. This is a Zweitschrift (second issue). My father said that all of his documents and belongings that were with the tross, were lost in Africa. His Soldbuch is also a Zweitschrift. The left upper corner of the Urkunde is missing. 3. I will post some of the documents in the "Luftwaffe Documentation" section. Hardy
    4. Thank you,I will take some pics of it . A point on the finish of the badges: On the denazified badge the the gold color on the eagle is still intact. My father said that because they wore most of the time the Knochensack over their tunics and badges , the finish of the medals wore off. [attachmentid=30588] Hardy

    7. [attachmentid=30522] Hello, just want to share my fathers badge. this one is his second issue that he wore from 1944 on. his first issued badge he send home during the war. I still have it as well, but after the war my father removed the swastika from it. I think this one escaped the same fate because the catch broke and he did not wear it after the war.
