    1. Is this ring from France or perhaps from Canada ? Text above the head ..."Tenacit?" ? I have no idea, so any info is welcome. Benten
    2. On this little badge is probably depicted the portrait of Garibaldi. I presume it is WW2 Italian patriotic. Garibaldi was the legendaric man of the Unity of Italy??Is this badge also related to unity of Italy, perhaps during the end of WW2, when Italy was separated; the south was already in allied hands and the north under German/ Mussolini ? Or is the badge more general patriotic? Common or scarce, has it value? Any information is welcome. Benten
    3. Mike, the tinnie has indeed all the Third Reich makings, but the eagle has still no swastika in this time-period . The tinnie is about the celebration of the Weimar constitution ; Ein Reich, Ein Volk, ein Recht ( Justice). It's a nice tinnie in Artd?co style. Benten
    4. You have very interesting tinnies Pete. This NSBO tinnie has the same design as the tinnie ?Es wird k?nftig nur noch einen Adel geben, Adel der Arbeit? Adolf Hitler 1933... ?There will be only one aristocracy in the future , the aristocracy of Work?. There exist several variations in text of these tinnies with same design .
    5. Joe, my compliments for these tinnies. I think the paper "tinnie" is very rare. Cheers, Benten
    6. Robert, the VDA tinnie; text "Tag des Deutschen Volkstums". ....your question ...... The Gothic ?s? is a bit confusing, it looks like an ? f?, but it is an "s". Above on this tinnie I recognize the cornflower that you see on many VDA tinnies I found this link about Castle, Burg Hohenwerfen; http://www.ennstalerhof.com/en/burg-hohenwerfen.shtml You can have a good time there : Benten
    7. David, thank you very much for your good information and picture. Benten
    8. Robert, very nice design tinnie and ?Gesunde Frauen durch Leibes?bungen? ; Healthy Women through Gymnastics. ...... ...... in Gothic script. The design could be a wing with a swastika. Here a picture of a poster from the National Propaganda Week 7.-13. October 1934. The spontaneous way of the composition and behaviour...the picture could be one of a commercial nowadays.
    9. Thank you Robert, that is indeed an old one..... A Merry Christmas and a Good New Year to you and to all! Benten Text; Christmas in every German house...we help.
    10. I haven?t seen them before Robert, so I?m glad you post the tinnies. The first one?..works (?) exhibition in the industrial Ruhrgebiet ( region) on the highest level, Reichs exibition in D?sseldorf. Interesting to see they mentioned D?sseldorf as Schlageter Stadt as a rememberance to Leo Schlageter. The second tinnie . Gauburg Hohenwerfen is situated in nearby Salzburg, Austria. It became in 1938 the status GAU- burg of the region Salzburg. So the tinnie could be a inauguration tinnie on that date . The place became a NSDAP education centre . Here a picture I found . I think it's really an impressive castle. Benten
    11. There was colored enamel on the ring. Any information is welcome. Benten
    12. Tartar and all....that's a good one, Robert !! I didn't see this tinnie from Flensburg before. Still good you posted it . A really nice design. Benten
    13. Robert, I like your ceramic tinnie of the NSV, National socialistische Volkswohlfahrt. On the second tinnie is the historical important Potsdammer Garnisonskirche depicted in the background , where the meeting was kept for the first time in 1933. Perhaps someone else knows more about the shaking hands and the two shields. Here...Greetings from Bramberg !! Yours is much older than mine. Cheers, Benten
    14. To Wood; you have an impressive collection with very nice and rare tinnies , inclusive Frankenstein! To Robert , I think your tooth is OK, you have material enough for more Grandl Schmuck! Cheers, Benten
    15. Here a little tinnie ( 3,1x 2,5cm ). Probably WHW related ? I think it's a rare one. Any idea about the date?
    16. Robert, About the first tinnie....... The inauguration of the city garden ( park/court) in Winnenden . The antlers is a symbol in the crest of the city of Winnenden. The dice could be a symbol of the gymnastics- , later sports-club of Winnenden, founded in 1838 (your tinnie is from 1938, -100 years) .This club got a place, in the neighbourhood of the Stadt Garten, their sport place, from the town council. Benten
    17. Pete, I think you are correct . I found some more info.., SWA..?possible!!... an abbreviation for S?d Westdeutsch Afrika ? = Namibia, one of the former German colonies. A businness company of German salesmen and bankers , founded in 1837. In Germany they made textile from the African cotton. Robert, you have an interesting tinnie. Benten.
    18. Mike nice Turnerbund tinnies. They show that the Germans already had a tradition to promote gymnastics in the 20 ties and early 30 ties, so before the nazis came in 1933. On the first tinnie a Germanic ( Teutonic ) warrior with raised sword. He has an helmet with eagle on it . This helmet is also depicted on pictures of the Prussian emperor Wilhelm 2 . Eagle helmet also on tinnie Reichsparteitag 1929. Your first tinnie is a German tinnie made and there where the meeting was kept in Austria Wien in 1926!! The two other German meetings are also kept in Austria. The tinnie with the men I can’t read. Thanks for posting your interesting tinnies. Benten
    19. Is this badge pre-1933 or later? Backside............................. [attachmentid=62908]
    20. Hello forumfriends, This is a little heavy badge size 23mm . Text; "Akademische Sektion Innsbruck. Below abbrevation "(d ?)D. u. OE.A.V." Deutsche und Oesterreichische Alpen Verein?. Maker mark ED. Sch?pflich M?nchen. Any info on this badge is welcome. Cheers, Benten [attachmentid=62907]
    21. Deutsche Jugendherberge a nice badge. I presume the text is “Jugendburg, Youth castle, Staleck”.The S in difficult to see. It was and still is one of the nicest youth hostels in Germany about 50km south from Koblenz near the river Rine. Cheers, Benten Here a picture ..........nice to recognize that the right side of the building here is depicted on your tinnie. [attachmentid=62906]
    22. Robert, your badge is nice elaborated , newer touristica most times doesn?t have that. It is a solid badge and the pin itself, shape and material brass pin are like those of the Third Reich pins ?.it?s hard to say what date. I think it?s a very nice to have in your collection. Cheers, Benten
    23. Robert , nice Grandl Hunting "Jewellery", German Grandl "Schmuck";jewellery always recognizable in combination to dear's teeth. In earlier days the aristocratics wore these hunting jeweLlery in gold. Later the more ordinary people wore silver . As you know yours is made for tourists . If you want, you can check out if the theeth are real or plastic? They put a bit light brown paint on them. Perhaps the backside reveals more about the date of it? I like objects of the German culture. Here an old walking stick device from Berchtesgaden [attachmentid=62329]
    24. Here is the sister of our tinnie ...............[attachmentid=62055]
    25. Here a picture of the envirment of our KdF tinnie ; The Cologne Cathedral , the river Rine and the railway station. [attachmentid=62053]
