    1. Hi everyone, I would like to know your opinion on this EK1 by C.E. Juncker. I was told that its a non maker marked, made before March 1941 as L/12 style numbers started after that and the PKZ numbers even later. Really appreciate for any help given. Thank You. Cheers, Ibrahim, Singapore. Obverse View

    3. Dear all, Just wanted to ask if anyone here has any info on a NSDAP Party member Karl Diebel. He wears a golden party badge no. 49192 Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thank You !! Cheers, Ibrahim, Singapore.
    4. Dear all, I intend to purchase this NCO triple etched sword by Carl Eickhorn. The blade is in mint conition and has the words "Gott mit uns" this declaration is surrounded with deluxe oak leafing. The ricasso side of the blade features a panel showing a pile of war implements, featuring crossed cannon in the center. The ending panel features a Prussian style, closed winged eagle over a standard. The reverse of the blade has a raised-out scene of a cannon and caisson being pulled by six horses. This blade is stamped on the reverse ricasso with a small double-ovaled squirrel trademark. The circles has the name, "Carl Eickhorn, Solingen". Inside is a squirrel trademark which has a serrated tail. 2 questions to ask:- 1) Since there arent any swastica on this sword, does it mean it is imperial and not third reich ?? 2) Could someone who has the same sword etching by Carl Eickhorn , to please post their pictures to compare ?? Any help would be grealy appreciated. Thank You !! Cheers, Ibrahim, Singapore.
    5. Dear all, I just bought this from Detlev, its a Meissen medal about the conquering of Singapore. But something about it puzzles me.... 1) The actual date for the surrender of Singapore is 15 Feb 1942, so obviously the date is wrong. Are these type of error common?? 2) In the German language, shouldnt it be written as Singapur instead of Singapore?? 3) Why was it created for in the first place, whats the purpose of these Meissen medals anyway?? Any opinions would be greatly appreciated. Thank You !! Cheers, Ibrahim, Singapore. PS:- Many thanks to Frank Heukemes for the translation!
    6. Hi all, Recently i saw a cool looking SS wedding ring at the WAF Bazaar section. I dont own one or even Don Boyle's book for that matter . Tried searching through the web plus militaria forums & there just doesnt seem to be one online for reference or any discussion about it . On the dealers websites only Craig Gottleib has it so if you have a genuine one please post it here for reference. Two questions to ask though. 1) Ive read somewhere that there was one company that did a very good reproduction of it , good details and all, but later it shut down and another company started doing it but the quality was not that good. Is this true ?? 2) How to tell fakes from the real deal ?? Thanks in advance for all your input guys !! Cheers, Ibrahim, Singapore.

    13. Dear All, I intend to start a project to find all relevent info on the wehrmacht/kriegmarine activities specifically U-181, in Singapore. All of which will then be presented to the Singapore History Museum whom ive already contacted and given their blessings, however i am starting from scratch though Nonetheless , i WILL DEFINITELY make a homepage at the very least !! So far im in contact with a excellent guy, Herr Rolf-Gunter Kolb , who was a guest of honour of the U-181 reunion, Click here! and now have a list of the crewmen Click here ! However i am still WAY SHORT of material to even start an exhibit As such i would really appreciate it if any of you guys could provide photocopies/pics/info/etc. of the Kriegsmarine/Wehrmacht , specifically on U-181, in Singapore?? Will keep update to all of you as my research progress. Cheers, Ibrahim, Singapore. P.S:- One interesting note though is that , according to the museum curator ,Mr Iskandar ,when the Japanese captured Singapore, a copy of the Surrender Of Singapore was given to the German Attache for Adolf Hitler himself but till now it has not been found......
