    1. As requested I have transferred all the overtly SA tinnies that I could find from the database thread to here. If I missed any please let me know. Approx 2 pages were added here..... Looking through that thread there are plenty of other groups that could have their own threads like KdF, DAF, HJ etc which would perhaps make it less cumbersome. Cheers Don
    2. I'm afraid not. So far this is a badge I haven't had time to study......... However, I would also like to see the reverse please. Cheers Don
    3. I'm afraid IMO it's a fake Swedish tinnie. These should not have this style pin fixing with the little disc attaching it to the badge. The pin should be soldered direct to the back. Sorry Don
    4. Robert, If you track down a '44 badge I will be definitely be able to give you a name if the badge was issued (as with all badges there were spares that were not issued) as I have the names of all 2337 recipients for that year. The odds of putting a name to a number for the years preceding '44 lessen with each year as the list is less complete, however I'm hoping that sometime in the future I'll have the complete list as I now know what documents I need to look for. Cheers Don
    5. No problem with it at all as far as I'm concerned. Check out the single "pebbles", one under the left crossbar of the "T" in the word Kleing?rtner & also to the left of the "N" next to it, exactly the same as on the one I posted. Cheers Don
    6. Indeed it does. Is it very noticeable in hand? I wouldn't have seen it in the picture without you mentioning it. Cheers Don
    7. For anyone interested I am now able to supply names of many of the recipients of the numbered Gaumeister badges from 1941-1944. I've managed to locate some documents with most of the winners & badges issued for these years, 1944 is complete with the other years less so...... I also have a few details of the 3 year Gaumeister recipients but the list is also not complete. Below: Gaumeister 1942 #1043 issued to Karl Quoo?, of Bregenz.........
    8. Do not apologise Xen, the quality is fine. Yet another variation, I wonder just how many there were given the short period that this badge was used.... Thanks for sharing it with us. Cheers Don
    9. Same here, regular trips to M?nchen, lots of time trawling the net. I'm also lucky in that I am often contacted by other collectors if they have something that they think I'll be interested in (which I always am ) Cheers Don
    10. Sounds like my way of collecting........... Some nice tinnies lads, thanks for posting them. Cheers don
    11. Another nice find. I would guess that these can be found with a variety of nubers on them for various gruppen, however I've only seen the 87 so far. Of course, as they are not RAJD marked it could be that they were unofficially locally made close to where the 87th were based & not produced for the other gruppen...... A nice find either way. Cheers Don
    12. Kevin, Have a read through this thread http://gmic.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=18511 Cheers Don
    13. Congratulations Nick, a nice find indeed. I have seen these very occasionally over the years, unfortunately never when I've had the money available to buy one...... Cheers Don
    14. A very nice find Robert, congratulations Cheers Don
    15. Hi Ilja559, Thanks for the info & link! I've been wanting to getb a few of those badges for a while but so far have not been able to find any. Cheers Don
    16. Nice portrait there Claymore. Regarding the enlarging, it's down to two factors, firstly the image quality (I was lucky with this one as the original image was sharp), & secondly a good quality scanner & it's software. I use an Epson Perfection 1670 which gives really nice depth of field for things like badges & medals, plus sharp images of pictures. It also came with some very powerfull software that allows for controlling & cropping the image before scanning. Cheers Don
    17. You're slipping Chris , the one above is the Bremen Flugtag in 1932. The one on the first pic I showed is the 1929 RPT
    18. The second. Please excuse the added detail of the tinnie, I used this image sometime ago elsewhere on this forum. Cheers Don
    19. Some nice images Claymore. I tend to collect portraits that show badges in wear, I've had a check through my collection & only appear to have 2 that I think qualify as SA (please correct me if I'm wrong). Here's the first. Cheers Don
    20. They're quite nice aren't they? I've had a few of these over the years, always the same, no different maker or anything like that. It's odd though that the standard badge without the gold wreath is harder to find than this gold version. Here's mine Cheers Don
    21. Thank you Fran?ois, lucky I did not buy it Cheers Don
