Do not apologise Xen, the quality is fine. Yet another variation, I wonder just how many there were given the short period that this badge was used....
Thanks for sharing it with us.

Same here, regular trips to M?nchen, lots of time trawling the net. I'm also lucky in that I am often contacted by other collectors if they have something that they think I'll be interested in (which I always am
)

Another nice find. I would guess that these can be found with a variety of nubers on them for various gruppen, however I've only seen the 87 so far.
Of course, as they are not RAJD marked it could be that they were unofficially locally made close to where the 87th were based & not produced for the other gruppen......
A nice find either way.

Congratulations Nick, a nice find indeed. I have seen these very occasionally over the years, unfortunately never when I've had the money available to buy one......

Hi Don,
I wish I could pick out small details in photos and enlarge as them as clearly as you have done...all I get is a large blurry image!
Nice portrait there Claymore.
Regarding the enlarging, it's down to two factors, firstly the image quality (I was lucky with this one as the original image was sharp), & secondly a good quality scanner & it's software. I use an Epson Perfection 1670 which gives really nice depth of field for things like badges & medals, plus sharp images of pictures. It also came with some very powerfull software that allows for controlling & cropping the image before scanning.

You're slipping Chris
, the one above is the Bremen Flugtag in 1932. The one on the first pic I showed is the 1929 RPT

The second. Please excuse the added detail of the tinnie, I used this image sometime ago elsewhere on this forum.

Some nice images Claymore. I tend to collect portraits that show badges in wear, I've had a check through my collection & only appear to have 2 that I think qualify as SA (please correct me if I'm wrong).
Here's the first.

They're quite nice aren't they? I've had a few of these over the years, always the same, no different maker or anything like that. It's odd though that the standard badge without the gold wreath is harder to find than this gold version.
Here's mine

As you guys know I'm not a big tinnie collector. I pick one up very occasinally if there really isn'y anything else to buy........
I was in Munich last week & came across this one in a flea market & though what the heck, a nice momento of the trip. I gues it's probably been posted on this thread before but here it is anyway.
Hope you like.
