    1. So only 2 wrong mounted - that`s a good share I think Greetings eitze
    2. And the reverse of both medals. The F.S. Star has a space in the centre for the engraving of the recipient`s rank, name and date of award. Greetings eitze
    3. Here we have the Long Service Awards. Left to right: - Loyal Service and Good Conduct Medal - Forces`Service Star The F.S. Star was awarded for 12 year service, while the LSGC was given after 16 years with the Colors
    4. And my last French piece is the Medaille Outre Mer with 5 clasps. Don`t know if they are in the correct order ?? Greetings eitze
    5. @Hendrik Thank you for the hint on the Colonial Railroads. Here you see the Medaille Coloniale with one clasp.
    6. And here we have the document. Unfortunately it is too big for my scanner. Hope you can see all the important parts. Greetings eitze
    7. Very interesting thread. I can contribute the "Order of the Black Star of Benin" - Knight`s Cross and award document. Here?s the order and the miniature:
    8. @stogieman Bought the whole stuff within the last two years Hope to get the "Ehrenkreuz mit Schwertern" asap this week, to complete the group which I posted in the other thread Now it`ll be time to look for the higher classes of the Merit-Cross. Greetings eitze
    9. Thank you Rick Unfortunately I`ve got no documents. It is a bad situation for the Waldeck-Collector - all war decorations during WW-I came WITHOUT award documents. They only got an entry in the Military Papers and that`s it. So nothing to collect for that period. And all documents before 1914 are very rare AND expensive. Greetings eitze
    10. And last a detail of the marker`s mark (Stempelschneider). Which was R. (=Rudolf) Kowarzik. Greetings eitze
    11. And final something for Homeland service in WW 1. The "Friedrich-Bathildis-Medal" on "B?gel"-suspension (don`t know the english word). It was bestowed from 1915-1918. The medal is quite a big one with a diameter of 38 mm. Numbers awarded: 375
    12. Next we have a mounted group, which consists of: - 1870-71 Combattant Medal - Silver Merit Medal
    13. And here comes the Golden Merit Medal. Unfortunately the gilding isn`t that shiny Medals awarded: 265
    14. Fellow Gentlemen, just found this fine thread about the decorations of Waldeck-Pyrmont. I would like to add some pieces of my collection as well; perhaps it will be of interest of some of you Let`s start with the Silver Merit Medals with Swords. The left is a silvered piece, while the right is a silver one.
    15. As far as I can see it looks like a non-combattant ribbon bar. OK it could be for a medic, but ... All surviving soldiers of the Peking defenders were awarded the Prussian Military Decoration 1. class, bar one exception: Seesoldat Horn got the golden "Milit?rverdienstkreuz". Got a list with all names of the 1-4 company of the III. Seebataillon under Count von Soden. So if you got a single China-Denkm?nze or on a single ribbon bar with the clasp "Peking", it might be OK. But on a big medalbar you should find the above mentioned decoration. That`s the way I see it. For the gentlemen a single medal from my collection. Sorry for the bad picture; it`s right from my hard drive. Greetings eitze
    16. And here`s the reverse. The ribbon of the first is black. Greetings eitze
