    1. Hello I have shoulder straps on my officer uniforms. But I noticed one has a yellow background with silver stars and the other one has a white background with gold strars. Could you tell me why that difference ?
    2. Hello I have a romanian academy badge (RSR type) but the pin is uncommon. Somebody has already seen that kind of pin ? Thanks in advance for help !
    3. This used jacket belonged to a colonel but when I got it there was not any trace of a hole over the right pocket. I suppose there was only the Academy badge (needle model) to this place because all models of specialist insigna have a screw on the back. Do you have a photo from an officer wearing a specialist insigna (communication, tank, air force ...) ?
    4. I have got a daily jacket from a colonel who worked in the communications but I only have the academy badge over the right pocket. Tell me if I have to add the specialist badge grade 1 next to the academy badge ?
    5. Thanks Kevin for this nice informations but in fact I would like to know if this examination of specialist was compulsory ? For exemple, are there some officers who never passed this examination and thus never received this insigna ?
    6. Hello Somebody could tell me if all officers were obliged to pass the examination of specialist ? Or its was an option ?
    7. You know why the date it's not written ? Communist period or after ?
    8. Hi Artan Thanks ! I found a photo from a cap on Internet showing an another label. I suppose the factory is "NPV" but the date is not written next to "data prodhimit", Do you know why ?
    9. Hi Artan Thanks for these interesting informations. A friend of mine was in Albania for job in the last weeks and yesterday he brought me a nice cap. It's the only military item he could see. Have a look here and tell me your opinion. It has its factory label inside "NPN" with a logo showing a cap with a star but I can't see any date. Can you date it approximately ?
    10. Please tell me if in 1991 the production of uniforms has stoped ?
    11. Hi Artan Thank you very much for the pictures about the buttons. If I understand all, in 1991 they stoped the production of uniforms and they only used their military stocks until 1994 (date of the creation of the new uniforms). Tell me if that's right ? Thanks again for your help.
    12. After the collapse of the regime in 1991, army continued to wear the old uniforms ? I suppose buttons (with star) of the jackets has been replaced ?
    13. Good evening Artan Lame A last question: NCO never worn belt ? Thanks !
    14. Hello Artan Thanks for your help with these nice informations. They continued to wear the closed collar jacket in the 80's ? With the opened collar jacket, there was a distinction between officers and NCO ? On the photo with the sigurimi officers, I would say they are not wearing a belt, It was possible to wear the uniform without belt ?
    15. Hello albania Thanks for your answer. Can you show me an eagle mounted on the caps after 1991 ? Do you know if the buttons with the star on each side of the cap were replaced too ?
    16. Hello Artan Lame Many thanks for this photo with the different models of stars. Please tell me if the star on the caps was mounted by soldiers/officers themselves or if it was made at factory ?
    17. Could you show me an eagle for cap (one of the 1st model) ?
    18. Thanks again for all these informations. What I wanted to know in my last question is if the star was installed on the cap by soldiers themselves or if it was made at factory ?
    19. After 91 they continued to produce caps or they only use the stocks ? During communist area, the star on the caps was put by the soldiers or by workers in the factories ?
    20. Thanks for the interesting informations. I would like to see a cap for soldier and officer made in 1992. I have seen this officer cap on military headgear website: http://www.militaryheadgear.com/items/9010 This cap is green and it has the star on the front and the buttons with the star. This one is really from the communist area ? There is no date written on the label. I ask you this question because if the caps remained the same, a collector could replace new insigna and buttons by communist ones. Thanks for your opinion.
    21. And the style of the cap itself (for soldiers and officers) has changed ? Can you show an exemple of a post communist cap ?
    22. Somebody could tell me how were the albanian caps for soldiers and officers just after 1991 ? Thanks for help !
    23. The 1st class could be awarded to a colonel ? Or only for the Generals ?
