    1. Hi Brian, I seem to recall that the 'P' stands for purged,as in the set was purged of gas/water etc. I think this was done as many of these sets saw post WW2 use in Korea. I had a set that was stamped 'W' which I think meant they had been tested for watertightness. Hope this helps? Kind regards, Andy
    2. Here are a couple more pics Michel. Hope they're good enough! Cheers, Andy
    3. Hello Michel, I've asked for a couple more pics, when he sends them I'll post them. Cheers, Andy
    4. Hello, A friend owns this item and would like some help with it please. It can be viewed from both sides, only when you look at the top display everything is reversed, like looking at it through a mirror, the other display is normal. It is marked eagle and swastika with 'M' next to it,which I presume signifies Naval use. Also marked W.366173 then Nkl 30 and bxx. I'll include some pics to give you a better idea. Kind regards, Andy First the top view.
    5. Thanks Eddie! Seems I need to buy a fire control computer, anyone got a spare ? Failing that a manual will do! Cheers, Andy
    6. Hello, I picked this up the other day as part of my fuze/fuze related items collection. It's a modern British fuze setter used for training. Does anyone know what the setter actually plugged into to get it to work,I'm guessing some sort of computer, anyone know for definate please? Also if anyone has any info on this item at all I'd be extremely grateful,I've googled the NSN number and can find a supplier/manufacturer,but no info!! Kind regards, Andy
    7. Hi William, Glad I could help! If ever you decide to part with it will you bear me in mind please? Kind regards, Andy
    8. Hi William, It looks like a British No 65 A Time & Percussion fuze to me. Introduced in 1914, obsolete in 1932. Hope this helps! Kind regards, Andy
    9. Many thanks Johnsy, much appreciated! Cheers, Andy
    10. Johnsy, You wouldn't happen to know the dimensions of a 40/60 flash hider would you? I think the flash hider in my collection is from this gun, then again,it could be from the 40/70. Cheers, Andy
    11. If the case measures 194mm then it looks like it's a French Hotchkiss anti-tank round. Kind regards, Andy
    12. I have found out after posting on another forum that this fuze was used with 7.5cm shrapnel shells. As yet the model number is unknown. Kind regards, Andy
    13. Just wondering if it is this fuze. On the picture it shows graduations up to 22,on my example (although I can't translate the numbers!),it seems to go past 22. Any thoughts? Kind regards, Andy
    14. Hello, I picked up this fuze last week. The only info I have on it at the moment is that it was probably manufactured prior to the Great war, and that it is a Krupp made fuze, but, who was it made for? It is made from brass and aluminium, and from what I can gather it is unusual to find an example where the aluminium hasn't corroded away. Can anyone recognize the script,is it Arabic? There is also some writing stamped onto the top of the fuze, but my camera won't let me take a decent shot! All help appreciated. Kind regards, Andy
