    2. Hi, I bought this medal years ago, and since then I haven't been able to identify it. Help would be appreciated.
    3. I looked into it a bit. The Law on orders and medals of FNRJ declared on 30. October 1946. states: (Badly translated text follows) The orders and medals are awarded to the civilian persons on recomendation of President of the federal governement (Prime minister), and to the military persons on recomendation of the Supreme commander of the armed forces of FNRJ. That should clear the things up.
    4. The K mark is known to be used by Teodor Krivak, a medal maker which has made a number of other high ranking Yugoslavian orders. They are very rare, but are known to exist. Apart from this one,I have also seen Order of brotherhood and unity first class with this same mark. As well as some other, but i cannot remember of the top of my head. Would have to dig a bit through my archive.
