    1. Another recent addition - a very well worn and matching set of boards and tabs for a Hauptingenieur: BC
    2. Hi all - some more minor additions to the collection (things have been a bit slow of late..!) A single Hauptingenieur tab: Another set of boards for an oberingenieur: And a set of tabs for an oberstingenieur, which is a nice variation from my other set of this rank: As always, if anyone has any ingenieurkorps items that they wish to part with, drop me a line Cheers! BC
    3. Another small update with some recent acquisitions - Another set of Fliegeringenieur tabs, with a propeller style I haven't quite seen before. This set looks like it was uniform removed. Another set of Stabsinginieur boards, this time slip ons. And a set of Fliegeringenieur der Reserve boards which look to have never been issued. Initially when I saw these I thought they may have been for Flak but they are a deep rose pink. One day I would love to find a set of reserve tabs for this branch. Thanks! BC
    4. Managed to pick up some tabs and boards for a Stabsingenieur after a bit of searching. Getting closer...! Cheers BC
    5. Another addition (i'll add to this thread as I get new items) - was lucky enough to be offered another set of generalstabsingenieur tabs. These have a little more wear to the other pair that I have and no padding on the propeller blades, so were likely done by a different manufacturer, but the bullion work is just as striking. Here's a pic with the other general rank tabs to show the difference in colour that is common amongst this branch. If anyone has any items in this branch that they want to part with, be sure to let me know Cheers! BC
    6. Thanks guys - don't think my collection is anywhere near Gary's but I am getting closer to having all of the tabs at least (am wheeling and dealing at the moment to get 2 of the 3 remaining tab sets that I am missing). The biggest challenge so far is shoulder boards - especially general rank boards - these are super scarce but I'd dearly love to own some sets of those! Cheers BC
    7. Hi all, Long time stalker first time poster in this thread. Over the last year or so I’ve slowly been collecting Luftwaffe Ingenieurkorps (corps of engineers) items. Being an Air Force engineer myself, it seemed an apt branch for me to collect. I've drooled over this thread many a time! So far I’ve been collecting insignia; collar tabs and boards. The end aim of my collection is to have the insignia (collar tabs and shoulder boards) for each rank, as well as hopefully be able to put together a tunic display or two. I’m well away from my aim at this point (I have a long way left to go) but here’s my little collection so far: Two sets of tabs and a set of boards for a Fliegeringenieur (Leutnant equivalent): A set of tabs and boards for Fliegeroberingenieur (Oberleutnant equivalent): A set of tabs for a Fliegerhauptingenier (Hauptmann equivalent), and a set of well worn boards for a Fliegerhauptingenier der reserve (i.e. reservist Hauptmann equivalent): A set of tabs for a Fliegeroberstabeingenieur (Oberstleutnant equivalent): A set of tabs for a Fliegeroberstingenieur (Oberst equivalent), as well as a single: A set of tabs for a Fliegergeneralingenieur (Generalmajor equivalent), in a rare post 1940 pattern with gulls: A set of tabs for a Fliegergeneralstabsingenieur (Generalleutnant equivalent). This was the highest rank in the corps and usually held by only one man at any given time: And a General’s eagle for good measure: A couple of “a.K” or “auf Kreigsdauer” tabs and boards: Here’s the whole small group so far. What is interesting to note is the differences in the basic colour. As you can see I still have quite a ways to go. If you have any ingenieurkorps items in your collections that you’d be willing to part with then please let me know! I find this branch somewhat hard to find so any help would be very much appreciated Thanks for looking! BC
    8. Thanks guys. Simon - no this cap wasn't being sold through Regimentals. I had quite a number of negative opinions on some other forums, so I decided to seek reimbursement before the cap shipped, which I received. So no harm done. Appreciate the feedback none the less! Thanks, BC
    9. Hello folks, What are your thoughts on this RFC visor cap? Alas I somewhat foolishly took a bit of a punt on this one as I don't know much about these, other than to say that it has some features that don't seem 'common' with the WW2 era caps I have seen, and some features that are common (for example, the fat chin strap). I don't have it in my hands yet (so I don't have any other pictures), but the seller has a return policy should the item not be as advertised so I should be ok, but am interested in any thoughts given I paid a bit of a premium. Thanks in advance, Brad
