Emilio,I owe you a dept of gratitude or at least a beer. The person who sold me this medal insisted it was right until i went to ebay with proof then it was send it back return money. I am interested in finding out how to clean the sash it arrived a little dirty and i wish to clean it but am afraid of the red washing into the white. Does anyone have suggestions? Hello,just to say that if someone like me with no knowledge of Japanese medals were looking to buy one of these i would or could get badly burned and i have a feeling that no one IE ebay would give a ---- yes. So just saying try to know what you are doing before you buy. I believe I have been lucky in that i only buy from people who seem to be honest and most are honest, only takes one bad apple to screw things up. Hope I am not to boring I just had to vent. Yes I have the medal but no box and many medals to soldiers in south africa during the boer war. I just need to catalog them so I know what i have. Thou it has nothing to do with this subject directly I thought i might stick my swagger stick I got some time ago.
