      Hello, i have a question especially for the american collector friends. Before a few weeks i get this 2 MoH for my collection, now is the good question in these days....real or fake. My researching (Call of Duty, Special Edition Book from BDOS 2012) says there are real. What is your opinion??? Matthias

      Hello Gordon, the Hamburg Mission Medal is not a one day Mission Medal. (No German Mission Medals comes for one day tours) The Medal comes for special meritorious services in a foreign Mission. For Example: Members of the Hamburg state Police and Bundeswehr win the Medal in combination with other Mission Medals (Bundeswehr Mission Medal, Nato, UN, EU etc.). All the Best Matt

      Hello CWS, yes, in the United States it's illegal. In Europe You can legal buy every Medal (including VC, MoH and the Ritterkreuz). The great Problem in Europe are the many bad Copy's, especially of MoH's. The last Original MoH,s are offered by Elite Militaria on Ebay UK for 3200£. All the Best Matt

      Hello Guys, you must not compelling a citizen of hamburg. But you must to serve in a Unit which are deployed in hamburg. You Win the Medal for all types of foreign missions (disaster relief mission - monitoring mission- training mission -battle missions). In my opinion is this the nicest mission medal in modern germany. All the Best Matt

      Hello, i served over 6 years in the Army 2002 -2008 and changed 2008 to Police. Just in the moment i am in a Riot Control Unit. For Paul, the German Uniform Code have a fixed order to wear Medals. The Sport Badges are the lowest German Awards and the last Awards in the order. I know what you mean, the Sports Badges are federal Awards and the other are country awards, but for ribbon bars the Sport Medals come in the national Medal pyramid at the end. Best Matt
