    1. This sweet example just arrived. It's an EK1 with the blued core, marked Silber on the rear. I'm really happy with this one. These blued cores are nice.
    2. A Deumer eh? Nice to know. Thanks.
    3. And just for laughs and because I know everyone around here can't get enough Iron Crosses, here the above are with another early Deumer also with the copper plated core, although no real wear like the others. Bought as a Zimmerman but revealed to be another Deumer. I should have sold it, but once I get my hands on something I can't let go.
    4. Here it is with it's pinback brother, showing the same type of wear to the high points. Not sure if this wear is natural or done on purpose, but it looks pretty good.
    5. The rear showing the unique clamshell device. These clamshells have shown up on fakes before and have to be watched, but this is a good one.
    6. Another recent arrival. A Deumer screwback with the clamshell screw device. This one is unmarked and has the copper plated core often seen on early Deumers.
    7. Thanks, I'll have a look.
    8. Yes it does. I guess so it won't be mistaken as a 9.
    9. Thanks. I'd say it's hard to find as oppossed to rare, but you can't find them everyday. A couple of people have posted similar ones, but those guys have large collections.
    10. Another look at the rear. A good addition to my Meybauer side collection.
    11. The rear showing the mark on the pin.
    12. Just added this one to my collection. It's an L/13 marked Meybauer with the old style pin, not the pin Meybauer used later in the war.
    13. Thanks, this is a really nice example to boot.
    14. Here's a nice EK2 marked number 6 for Fritz Zimmermann. This ones in nice condition with a well marked stamp on the ring.
    15. Top of the case. Overall a nice set. Everything works, with no problems.
    16. In the case. Looks to be a typical case with the purple inlay.
    17. The rear. Interesting hardware.
    18. This is my first cased 1914 EK1. I'd been holding off on a cased piece for awhile but saw this one at a good price. Although it's unmarked, it has a hardware setup that I did not have in my collection. It's vaulted and in good shape. Any idea who would have made this?
    19. Thanks. I fluked into this one. I just bought it to have an S-W marked cross. I never even knew of different cores. Guess I got lucky. Now I need the other core one of these days I guess.
    20. Not sure if you're amember over there, but here's a link. http://www.wehrmacht-awards.com/forums/sho...ht=medal+stands
