    1. Lastly his badges Para Qualifying Badge
    2. Closer, this is about the best pic of the beret label.
    3. I have recently been offered an interesting uniform set up to a Foreign Legion Para who served in Algeria. I have to be honest that French uniforms are not my bag, but this seems to be a nice, interesting uniform that would fit nicely with my current collecting interests. Does anybody have any knowledge about these pieces and what I should be looking for; questions to ask, etc? A friend has advised me that the numbered Para badge places it about 1962 which fits the era. He has also advised me to ask about the uniform markings as if they are Israeli then it would effect the price and I am currently awaiting an answer for that. Here are some pics.
    4. Also in answer to the final part of your question, yes these are reproduced.
    5. I know you guys will know this but If you go to www.wwiidaybyday.com follow the links (unit emblems-tactical markings, license plates) then (unit emblems on aircrafts)you will find under (eagles, birds, dragons, roosters, chicken etc..) 4.(H)/21 Then look under (beasts of prey, dogs, cats) KG 55 you will see subtle differences in styles, the tail on KG 55 snakes up behind the Griffon where as the tail of the Dragon of 4.(H)/21 snakes between the legs as in this badges example. Also the wings on KG 55 are black as is the tail tip. I feel this is 4.(H)/21 but that is just my interpretation. I know Francois is ofay with these badge types maybe he can cast more light? Sorry I am unable to post individual links from this site.
    6. That picture of the wounded men is sandwiched in between 9 other pics of this damaged Ju? There is quite a lot of interest in this aircraft some of which I have already posted, although I cant read the side number it is possible this is their plane.
    7. Perhaps Steves information explains this picture of Erbe posted earlier now in full. Two wounded Compadres and Erbe with the wound badge and one seemingly untouched friend. The 4 Aircrew perhaps?
    8. Unfortunately Steve I have been away quite alot this year and still have a three month trip to go, so my research time is negligible. What is posted here is all there is to the group, so no Soldbuchs, Wehrpass, etc with this lot Where did you manage to find out this other info? If you dont mind me asking?
    9. Welcome to the forum Steve, thats a smashing piece of information, thanks.
    10. Here is a link to wikpedia http://www.answers.com/main/ntquery;jsessi...=Junkers%20G-38 and a picture I found on a modeling site, this must be when it still flew with Lufthansa
