Hey PK, Thanks for the help, that is a paper envelope, just cropped to the label part. The back has the Deschler and Son, Munchen tag on the envelope. The backing for the tank is the metal plate, while the backing of the entire strip seems to be of a greyish wool or felt. MG120
Hi all... I was given a tank destruction strip in gold that I am unsure of its authenticity. I have been looking for information but it seems to be quite scarce. If you would please give me your thoughts.
Thanks Kev... The one I have has a metal backing plate that the prongs are stuck through, as part of the wool felt has come loose so you can see it. I will keep looking for info..
I have a tank destruction strip in gold with packet that I will post pictures of later, at work at the moment. My question is two fold, first, how can I determine wether or not its a pre-45 piece or a 57 piece? Second, could someone point me in the right direction for documentation/research, books etc that may contain what I am seeking. Thanks
