Hi Thomas,
Wow!!!!
that's a great picture!!!!! On the picture is wearing THE very bar I have!!!! The ribbons are folded exactly as my bar... Do you have more of him?
thanks for showing...

He looks like he has the shoulder boards with double piping (reserve?) on his Gala Tuxedo LW uniform...

Well... It was for sale in a German Auction, and as soon as I saw it, I immediately knew that this kind of combination of awards must be quite unique. Furthermore a fellow collector confirmed my thoughts.

Finally found Falke's medal bar and reunited with the rest of the documents and pictures... Someone told me that also his civilian tuxedo bar (Frankspange) is around in Germany, lying in a collection without the knowledge of the current owner about the wearer's name.
On the bar there is no Hamburg Hansakreuz, like on Falke's ribbon bar or miniature chain, but I didn't find any documents confirming his bestowal of such cross. I think he was a bit naughty, wearing a cross he didn't actually formally and officially get... But at least he didn't have the guts to wear it on his full scale medal bars...
Enjoy the pictures....
(The HHOX is a Godet's Spangenstück, with a flat reverse, but with the typical Godet's rivets)

Hi Trevor!
Sometimes from the pictures is hard to tell if it's gold, bronze-gilt or silver-gilt, but once you have such a piece in your hands it's easy to see the differences, especially the weight and the quality.

Nice!
Is it yours? Good job in identifying the original owner... Now to be sure, it would be nice to find a photo of him wearing this pre-1934 bar... I'm wondering if such combination could be unique.

Really nice stuff... the Waldeck due and the Godet-labeled case! :-) Wow... the Schwarzburg-Sonderhausen Silver cross is showing the reverse medaillion...

A special one being sold on the next Thies' auction... "mit Brillianten"... ;-)

Thanks a lot dear Daniel! Great work in identifying the potential wearer of this bar...

It's a functionary military officer... Militärbeamter.

Hi Jason,
The 8th decoration must be the Order of the Roman Eagle without swords (no swords devices on the ribbon), since it follows another Italian decoration (croce al merito military). The 6th decoration is the Zvonimir order without swords, the devices on that it's correct.
Ciao,
Claudio

Hi Jason,
In my humble opinion it's the ribbon for the order of the Crown of the King Zvonimir without swords (allied to the Axis powers).

Good eyes Chris! I didn't even notice that... (it's post # 43 however). That is most unusual... totally wrong!

Beautiful bars! Especially the first, so neately sewn together. I bet that on the back of the bar is the label of the Juweller Godet in Berlin... ;-)
Let me know if you are going to get bored about it... I'd be more than happy to find a new home for it! :-)
ciao,Claudio

Yes, but nevertheless a Great Bar... It wasn't there last time I visited the museum, since that space was occupied by the previously mentioned exhibit about Bavaria and the Napoleonic era...

Dear forumites,

I'd like to show some pictures I have taken at the the Festung Tilly in Ingolstadt (Bayerisches Armeemuseum https://www.armeemuseum.de/de/). Very interesting and complete group of a Bavarian WWI general... lots of interesting information about his career, family and insights into the struggle for power within the Oberkommando des Heeres and its military and strategic implications.
I would warmly suggest a visit at the castle of Ingolstadt. Right now there's still a great exhibition about "Napoleon and Bayern"... well done, with a lot of historical insights and also objects of historically very important provenance (Napoleon, his wife Josephine, of the Wittelsbacher Dynasty, etc...). Unfortunately the exhibition finishes in October (now).Enjoy the pictures.
ciao,
Claudio

Yes, the HOH3X is really high Godet's quality... It doesn't detract at all from the bar that is a Spangenstück...![:) :)](https://gmic.co.uk/uploads/default_smile.png)
