    1. I think it is a genuine piece but is there any way to know if it was awarded? I've read that there are a lot of unawarded pieces but I think it's not the case with this one. It is currently for sale at a local pawn shop. I'm guessing it could have been awarded to one of the Yugoslav Partisans since I'm from that area. Any help will be appreciated!
    2. No problem Dave! Unfortunately, these badges are very common and you really can't say when they were made. The only possible information you get is from the screwplate which tells you who made it.
    3. It's a Yugoslav People's Army border troops badge made by Aurea Celje. Pretty common but in a rough shape. It's hard to tell anything more.
    4. Here's a photo of a Serbian composer Stanislav Binički (1872-1942). He's wearing a Serbian Order of Saint Sava 4th or 5th class and another one which I cannot identify. I'm not sure where to aim so I'm posting in this subforum. Any help will be appreciated!
    5. Around 5€ on a flea market for the set which indeed isn't a set but just a bunch of random pins. Nice piece of memorabilia nontheless!
    6. Officer's cross (4th class). The only difference between Officer's and Knight's cross (5th class) is that the Officer's cross has a rosette on the ribbon.
    7. I've only seen the types that you've mentioned and I think that the type which you have is the rarest for this order. I also prefer the original screwpost types. Beautiful silver pieces!
    8. Amazing group, thank you very much for sharing!
    9. This ribbon is currently for sale on ebay and it's being sold as a black ribbon bar for Tito's funeral. I've never seen anything like this nor have I read about these black ribbon bars. Any information will be appreciated!
    10. I don't know if that finger is supposed to point out the femininity of the hand but it does look rather strange.
    11. Document summary: Recipient is sergeant Milan Ž. Mijatov He was awarded with an Order of Bravery number 50,587 on 11th of August 1947. Suspension translation: First row: Mijatović Milan (seems like an extended name of the name on the document, or should I say, the name on the document is shortened) Second row: Perica Lalić (another name, although I don't know why is there another, different name here) Third row: "p.poručnik rođ." (short for "potporučnik rođen" which means "2nd lieutenant born") Fourth row: 1st August 1925 Melenci (his date of birth and Melenci being his birth place) Melenci is a village located in Serbia, region of Vojvodina to be more precise. Hendrik, nice set by the way! Can you post a photo of the medal including reverse? We don't see many medals with it's original document and matching serial numbers. By the way, I've never seen an engraved suspension before. It kinda adds a spice to the item and gives more information on a recipient. All in all, I really like it!
