    2. Heres a Single mount EKII It came with pics of the man who earned it..straight from the family in Germany! will have a name soon! hopefully! Just been given the name! He is 'Peter Krause'. I will find out which part of Germany he came from.
    3. More! a three medal bar from a Wurttemburger. Home made, with ingenious way of using the EKII ribbon to hold the pin to the bar! Its my third Wurttemburg trio bar with a G10 marked HK!
    4. More! a four medal bar from a Wurttemburger. Tis a bit rough, but some TLC will sort it out.
    5. Hello Gents, I am pleased to announce that the postie is coming to my house again! just a selection of simple bars nothing fancy... Thanks to another forum member!! you know who you are. Enjoy! Regards Paul Now Gents, this is a Baden 9yr sevice medal,
    6. Claudio! What a bar! It never ceases to amaze me how the plain old Hindenburg cross gets moved around on a medal bar....this guy must have taken Hitlers drean seriously... Thanks for showing! Spectacular! Paul
    7. Hello Gents and wow! what a fine medal! its just beeeeuuuutiful! I agree with Claudio about having single parade mounts for display, its the best, visually, way to display a medal on its own. and another tip of the hat to Claudio, with his magnificent collection of single parade mounts! wow! made my jaw just drop! never knew there were single mounts of most of those medals...fantastic stuff! Cheers gents! Paul.
    8. Thanks gents! Yes Stogie/Rick, i had noticed the difference with the HK ribbon and wondered why it was not consistent with the other ribbons. Hmm, so its a 'caught between' regulations bar... Thankyou again! Cheers, Paul
    9. Heres an unusual combo... how did the HK get in front of the Barvarian cross????
    10. WoW! Thanks Paul for showing this very unusual mounting!! My first glimpse of such an arrangement....cool! And Rick, your one looks pretty cool too! with its 'stealth' hanger.... Thanks gents for sharing! Keep them coming... Cheers, Paul.
    11. Bob, that is very Gentlemanly of the seller to replace the medal with the original type. Its good to hear of these things happening! as it bodes well for us collectors. Regards Paul
    12. Yes its a nice wee bar...and yes Rick, its sad that he did not live much longer...or...did he not get caught up with the new regime...Hmmm makes one wonder... Anyway its a nice one with felt backing...something i look for when buying bars for my collection.. Cheers, Paul
    13. Hi Paul, That is a Sweet bar! and bonus with the case in such good condition! Thanks for sharing ! Heiko, your bar is very nice too! thankyou. Best regards Paul
    14. Dave! I take my hat off to you! Your Knowledge astounds me...Impressive indeed! Thankyou for all your help here gents! thats what this site is all about! Regards Paul
    15. Nevertheless its an Nice all cross bar! One thing about it that interests me...is that it seems to be a wide bar, having the extra clip in the middle. I have a 5 placer that is alot narrower in width <> ways...and does not have the extra clip either Good observation Chip...the ribbon looks like the one for the Ordensrat der Deutschen Ehrenlegion e.V (detlevs description not mine) and yes it should not be there with the Hindenburg cross. Cheers Paul
    16. Thank you Gentlemen. Yes am definately hooked now Bob, Hook line and sinker....
    17. Thanks Rick! yes its a very slippery slope! But what the heck! i love this slope!! can think of worse slopes to be on...lol
    18. Heres the original Wurttemburg Trio with ribbon bar which are now on the bar and looking good!
    19. Hello Gents, Just wanted to share the pics of my latest arrivals. Thanks to Christian Lerhle!! Fist up is a nice tidy 2 place bar with the Prussian war merit cross and the Reserve Long service medal IInd class. this is mounted beautifully and has a felt backing, no label tho... The second is a Bar picked up to complete a Wurttemburg trio that i have which i bought along with ribbon bar, the medals were loose so i began a search for a parade mount bar to attach them together and give the group some visual beauty. The Wurtt group came with a G10 marked Hindenburg cross, and this bar also came with a G10 marked hindenburg cross, makes me wonder if the G10 manufacturer was in the Wurttemburg area, any info on this would be great! I have since attached the Wurtt trio to the bar and it looks fantastic! the original Wurtt EKII has the acorn mark on the smaller ring, and this new one has the KO mark. If anyone out there has a ribbon bar for the Prussian pair, i would like to buy it! thanks Enjoy! Paul
