I know there are forum members out there with generals tunic, hosen, mantel, pickelhauben and so on... please post you generals items, whether dress or field use.
I know many have tunics, headgear, insignia, and other items that weve seen and others we haven't. It would be nice to have one thread foucused on generals.

Another in Camo. I have a few others somewhere around here. I'm a bit concerned as I have 5 and can only find 2!!! I'm admitting to myself and my wife that its too much to keep. i have to part with my not WW1 items as I have too much. A person must decide to focus on an area. If he cant narrow to a certain point of interest he should at least focus on a specific war...

Are all bread bags dated and depot stamped? I know fading and use may erase most edidence but I'm curious. I suppoe everything German is marked...

I too want to assemble a complete infantryman's display but its a long hard process and if you have A.D.D. like me you'll get distracted many, many, many, many times by other items.
I only have the tunic, pants, helmet, and one ammo pouch (wrong one tooo!!) but have no equipment. Starting this summer I must start focusing on equipment. However, I would love to have a salty 1910/1914 pattern enlisted tunic to use.

Post your Infantry tunics
Here's a nice 1910 infantry tunic for a feldwebel-leutnant of Infanterie-Regiment „Kaiser Wilhelm“ (2. Großherzoglich Hessisches) Nr. 116.
Nice whipcord type material and super nice insignia. I love the look of the NCO.

Here's a really nice technical or artillerie style tunic for a leutnant of a Flieger unit.
This may have been a feld-artillerie tunic but the shoulder boards appear to me originally applied as I see no evidence of replacement.

A near mint kleiner rock for a Leutnant of Leib Grenadier Regiment 8.

Here's an extremely well preserved kleiner rock for a major of the General Staff. The HHO is original to theEK ribbon. Came with general staff piped pants.
The cap is that of HR17. I traded this cap to a good frield who really needed it more than I do.

Lets see your field gray ulankas
Here's a nice Rittmeister of Guard Ulan Regiment 3. Proper visor cap though the yellow has faden over the years. Note the subdues brocade belt and buckle.

Here's Graf von Bothmer and Ritter von Hemmer in 1917.
Bothmer is wearing a Litewka ( field gray or blue) and Hemmer is wearing a 1916 bluse. So, the Litewka was most likely worn until war's end.
(Hemmer awarded PlM 1917)

It does appear to be the crown device but

Rick L had it narrowed to I think one man and Daniel may be correct.
I've love to create a good database for all my ID'd bars. I lost many files last year... Oh well, it allows for more research.

Chip is the strap master.
Better photos of the straps and collar would be helpful

Seems very high so I assume so. I wouldn't pay that much for a M15 unless it was special, named, and came with a photo, etc.

I have tried and tried but I don't have the bavarian resourse materials required. Only one photo on the web that I've found thus far.

It's extremely nice and the exact tunic and look I'm searching for.
