    1. The outline might be a bit different, but The plate on mine is just pressed into that outline.Anyways a nice maker and badges. don
    2. No I don't think there was another die.I just think the oval part on mine looks bigger than your round catch type.I think my badge is a silver.I have seen other silver badges with gold pins.I think they used what was on hand at the time. For example...I think your badge and mine are the same or came from the same die.Your badge seems to have a better hinge set up them mine.Mine seems to have a nicer catch set up then yours. One Question....Is your hinge cast onto the badge? If the hinge is cast onto the badge there might have been another die.My hinge plate is not cast to the badge. One of those steel types don
    3. Good day...Yes mine does have gold on the steel pin. Also on my catch there is a oval plate that fits into the oval part of the badge. You can see the outline on yours.Anyways on mine the catch fits into the oval plate.Nice to see another example of round pin L-24 don
    4. Here are a couple shots of my l22s.The l22 is a lighter and thinner zinc badge.
    5. A fine collection Gordon. If you would like to add a couple Imperials go ahead. Many wound badge collectors collect both nazi and imperial in their collections. That is why you are finding both in this thread don
