1. Thank you very much Mondvor for both translations. This one seems to be a rather interesting citation. These long range bombers were very few in numbers.
2. Thank you for offering help, but I can't post full pics because of the size limit of 60 kb. If you would like, I can send the full pics of award cards and other documentation to your e-mail.

3. Hi, Today I got two more researches but unfortunately I don't have the full tranlations yet so I was hoping someone could translate the citations for me as I am very courious, why were these two medals awarded.. The first is a medal for bravery citation, I hope the pic is not too small.
4. Well, ever since I got this order two years ago, I was sure it must have an interesting story behind. The research took almost 6 months but it was worth to wait. I'm posting a few pic of the english translation and the whole group togeder with medal.
5. Yes he did, he was in the Red army until may 1946 and received Medal for victory over Germany on 9. may 1946.
6. That is exactly what I was thinking. That is why I wanted to hear some opinions... I think for this kind of action he should at least got a Glory III... Well it's interesting indeed, what is hidden behind an old, damaged and ugly red star order. This is why I like collecting these awards.
7. This one is also interesting, another combat award. It was awarded to Kuzma Yefremovich Ivanov, senior sergeant, served in rifle division, order awarded in may 1944. Citation: May 28, 1944, 600 meters to the north-east of Chervona village, Rovensk region, after powerful artillery and mortar bombardment of the leading edge, over a company of enemy passed to the offensive against our rifle company. The enemy's outnumbering forces pressed our rifle company and took some of our trenches. In the culmination point of the battle, when the enemy was trying to get to the flank of another soviet company, Comrade Ivanov assumed command when the commander was killed, and dashed at the enemy, in the result the enemy was dislodged from the trenches, and our status was restored. The enemy lost 10 killed and wounded soldiers in the battlefield. I would also like to hear your opinions here.
8. Hello to everyone, I'm new here, and I would like to contribute to this forum and so I'll show you a few citations for my soviet awards. First, a citation for my Order of glory 3. class It was awarded to Vasily Ivanovich Koryavkin, Private first class, antiaircraft gunner in may 1944. Citation: During his term as the Gunlayer in the division battery, Comrade Karyavkin demonstrated model courage, heroism, bravery, military valor and skill of destroying the enemy. In operations in the Caucasus at Novorossiysk, in april 1943, during massive raids of enemy aviation, Domrade Karyavkin despite exploding shells and artillery bombardment of the enemy ? bravely pointed the gun at the target, as a result of which 8 enemy planes were struck down over open sights. May 7, 1944, when firing the gun at weapon emplacements and enemy peronnel at Sapu mountain, notwithstanding mines and shells exploding around, Comrade Karyavkin inspired the soldiers of the crew and pointed the gun and destroyed the targets, given to the crew. During one day only, Comrade Karyavkin's gun destroyed 3 machine gun emplacements of the enemy, up to 80 soldiers and officers and suppressed the fire of a large caliber machine gun. Comrade Karyavkin was the first gunlayer to open fire from the fire position on top of Sapun Mountain, which suppressed the fire of a heavy machine gun of the enemy and cleared a path for our infantry sub - unit. Untill now, I've thought that something like this is only possible in Call of duty game... Please I would like to hear your opinions.
