Help needed to ID Lions Head Belt buckle

Thank you Sir. It has been a real head scratcher for me. One of many in my lifetime. LOL -
Does anyone recognize this buckle? It is cast brass and may have been gold gilt at one time. It has the look of a typical late 19th early 20th century US military buckle. The lion is in 3D relief. It measures 2 3/4" X 1 7/8" Thank you in advance.

Wow! Those are very nice buckles! I have been looking for a brass Cuban belt buckle for some time but they just don't seem to exist...until now. I did find a picture of one online but I think that is as close as I am ever going to get...lol
