Hi Marco,
My mistake with my post on the AEC medals
70 and not 50 of those awards were issued on 19 April 1994.
2 x Gold
30 x Silver
38 x Bronze

Archie

Hi Megan & Marco,
I lose out on the 1 auction on the 2 SWATF Medals for Merit to Civilians, but was fortunate to get a gold, but unfortunately with the wrong ribbon.
The 4 pictures with the silver, is those that I missed, but they have the correct ribbons.

Archie
Attached is the gold and silver awards for 4 Special Forces Regiment to SA Special Forces members.
Seems like gold was to officers and bronze to NCO's and civil members
Hi Marco and Megan,
Sorry for only getting back now on the AEC medals
50 of those awards were issued on 19 April 1994.
2 x Gold
30 x Silver
38 x Bronze
Attached article is unfortunately in Afrikaans, but mentioned the names of all recipients. Unfortunately no pictures of all 3 classes

Hi Chris.
The ranks were used through the Angolan Bushwar period, up to close to 1995.
The wings are still in use for many years already, although they don't use the nutria material wing on the current camoflage uniforms. They used them for a while until the mint colour insignia came out, to be worn with the Soldier 2000 uniforms..
See my attached uniforms with some different insignia
Regards
Archie
