    1. Reverse, and a final thanks to Christian L for allowing me the opportunity to add this Red Star to my collection. . . Comments and translation help is much appreciated. . .
    2. Citation. . . This is what I have gleaned thus far, that Junior Lieutenant Stolyarianko was a tanker and graduated from the 2nd Charkow Tank School in October, 1942. He was a tank commander in the 30th Guards Tank Brigade at the age of 19. On February, 12, 1943 during the offensive near the city of Puschkin, Leningrad area, he was heavily wounded in the lower thigh. He spent time in the hospital, after which he was honorably discharged on October 20, 1943 when he was 20. What else can the Russian speaking members of our Forum fill in for us?
    3. Reverse, highly polished by a former owner, not Motorhead though. . .
    4. My latest addition, courtesy of "Motorhead". . .
    5. The pictures from my earlier post disappered somehow, so I am reposting them.
    6. To add to your thread, one of my recent acquisitions. I mistakenly thought the "V" was an "A". . . obverse: reverse: "V" maker mark: "800" stamp: I observe the "800" stamp is below the catch on yours and in the middle of the reverse on mine. There was another example with the "800" stamp on the top side of the reverse.
    7. Can one ever have too many Red Stars? Just asking, Paul, rhetorical question. . .
    8. Brief description of personal feat or merits. He has been serving in the position of an adjutant since September 1942. Over this time he has been at the Don, Central and West Fronts, he repeatedly was under the enemy?s fire. He acquitted himself well in battles. August 12, 1943 at the village Gnezdilovo - izhnoye, Smolensk region he was under bombardment of 173 German planes together with me, he displayed courage and quick wit. As there were no shelters he shielded me with his body to protect from damage, which could be caused by shell splinters. Deserves to be awarded with ?Red Star? order. Commander-in-Chief of the 10th Guards Army Guards Lieutenant General (signed) /Trubnikov/ August 19, 1943 ?Red Star? order was awarded under order to the troops of the 10th Guards Army No 015/N of August 20, 1943
