    5. Hi Fran?ois, I will get the camera out soon and get some more photos of it for you, it also has the rubber base to stop it sliding about when in use, and I don't think I have any photos of it in use, will do a check. Bob
    6. Hi Jim This type of cap was only to be worn during the designated Summer months, (they were also worn in tropical regions all year round), but the normal blue top cap was worn during the cooler months in Europe as per regulations. Yes an Oberfeldwebel could have worn this type of cap, it was available to all ranks up to officer grades, officers had a slightly different type of cap, see the two examples I posted here as well. The blue top visor cap was also used during the Summer months as well. Look forward to seeing your tunic when you get the time to post it. Best wishes Bob

A Luftwaffe Signaller's tunic I have, with the loops on the right hand pocket, I am assuming the guy would have been a veteran of the Spanish campaign, so I hve given him the ribbons for that service, and yeah I need a Spanish Cross to put there too, will do some better shots of this, these photos are fairly old and a couple not quite focused right, but it will give you an idea. 15. I acknowledge that anyone can add a name tag, so I can't say for sure that this tunic did belong to von Maltzahn, but maybe I can one day find a decent shot of him with his awards as an Oberst, and maybe match up the loops... Here is another shot of the eagle, this is scanned ...
    16. Tracked down the scans I have on disc, so here they are, first up is the name tag in the collar....
