    1. I don't have a ribbon bar that fits in all of the loops, so have made do with what you see, here is another view of the tunic...
    2. An Oberst of flight, 4 pocket service tunic with period loops, the RK and flight clasp on this are repro's, the rest are ok....
    3. And the last pic, showing detail (and fading) under the collar. Interesting that there is a very similar tunic with the same amount of fading in the Schiffer book on the DAK, which is attributed to David Bunch (from memory). Best wishes Bob

After much beasting from Paul, I have the time to put a couple of tunics up for show, here is a nice blue tropical tunic, bleached out with a fair amount of wear, and a couple of sets of award loops, EK II ribbon, and white piped shoulder straps, first up is the tunic on a half mannequin.....
    6. And dragged out of the back of the cupboard, my old service dress jacket.....
    7. Hi Johnsy, Interesting as I thought the old marksman's badge was no longer used, good to see it still being worn. For some reason I thought you were army, your bits and pieces told the full story, if you ever get to the Williamstown dockyard, look me up! Bob

    9. And to finish off, there is a nice model of a Mozzie also in the restoration hanger, and it is all viewable and accessable to the public... Best wishes Bob

    11. "Whew" a marathon effort, to finish off, this is on the go at the moment, a Mosquito being restored in the restoration hanger....
    12. This particular Walrus was recovered recently and restored by the team at Point Cook, after it was wrecked in a 120 mph gale on Heard Island, it was serving with the Australian National Antarctic Research Establishment during 1948.....
