Nice EKs,John. But are you shure that your 1914 Meybauer has got his original pin? We know that Meybauer used mre than one core, but the pin looks replaced to me.At the moment I can show only two 1914 MB pinbacks.. Nr1
Yes,the "oldstyle" pin indicates an early one.But.....I've got one of these with an L/13 stamp at the pin! And of course not to forget the "Schinkel" with this kind of pin. Micha
As you said-textbook"120"!And a nice one, too! At the moment it seems the marked has dried out-even at the dealers sites only the "standard"makers......my "wanted" list is really long! Micha
.....I'm speechless....for years I was looking under every stone.........bought every Ek with a crown that was looking like this..........asked every one.......and you,my friend, got one in a moment.........live's a bitch! Micha
It's so dead quite at the EK front,so here's something different.....I like these little cases with the special hook-and it looks like I'm hooked, too! Micha
I'm not the greatest fan of Rudolf Souval, but every iron cross collection wouldn't be comple(if that is ever possible) without the RS EKs.So here's my maker marked pinback-not the nicest, but they are not so easy to find....now I'm looking for the other core. Micha
Thanks, guys! Russel, you are right-this variation is not often seen at the marked.I own another one,but it's really beaten up and worn.So I had to take this one also......here's my"old" one Micha
Russel, have you got a complete one?I was searching thru my files but unfortunately I didn't find a complete one.....shame one me! So if one of the gentlemen here is the lucky owner of a complete AWS screwback.....please post some good shots! Micha
