    1. Should we open a poll about the Yugoslavian section?! I'm for it, but it should sound obvious. Oh, and by the way, new rules for new rooms: it will be a bilingual section, both English and Serbian/Croatian admitted... lol, kidding! Filip
    2. The graničari were the border unit guards in old Yugoslavia. Today they don't exist anymore, as far as border controling is not anymore matter of the army, but of the MUP (Ministarstvo Unutra?njih Poslova, Ministry of Internal Affairs), basically policemen. This was their badge, usually worn on the uniform jacket, on the left chest. Most of them were produced by "IKOM" - Zagreb, some other by "AUR-METAL" - Subotica (Serbia), or, as this one, by "AUREA" - Celje (Slovenia). The pin, this is from Subotica: Regards, Filip
    3. I'd say not more than 50? (100USD) with its box, and hopefully the ribbon. But their value is growing quite fast, and it's getting more difficult to find them at good prices. This is mine: I didn't buy it: it's a present of my uncle, who served in the Yugoslav Army for several years. Regards, Filip
    4. By the way, this is the 50 years (the last one) version. Issued just before the fall of old Yugoslavia (1991).
    5. Hello gentlmen! My name is Filip, and I'm new to this forum. I'm mainly interested in Yugoslav awards, medals, etc., but I still have much to learn. I live in Italy, but I was born in Belgrade. First of all I want to answer at this post, even if it's a bit dated... Unfortunatelly, Dolf, that ribbon is not correct for your Order. The right one is this: Your ribbon is for the 40 years of JNA medal: Regards, Filip
