    1. Thank you Rick, But why then officer level at least didn't wear something, what shows they LS??? This guy loved is swords on the foreign commemorative awards : The last ribbon vas pretty washed, so I was thinking that its Tyrol medal . Anyway, what about this Baden bar last ribbon (saschaw, you don't collect so common combinations I presume)?
    2. Thats great investment what you have in there! I really like it!
    3. Thanks Rick! I don't have problem to wait not so ever! If the name pops up some moment, I would be very happy! I find it very interesting combination. Here is another six place common combination. Am I right: - WW1 vet. Probably NCO level because no LS award during the first war? - He was front line soldier because swords on the Hindenburg cross ribbon - Probably from Hessen because the Hessen General Honor Decoration (probably "For Bravery") - Tyrol Province Remembrance Medal (Isn't the last one?) shows that he was probably one of the guys from German mountain troops who defended Tirol? - Civilian during the WW2 but some kind of official because the Faithful Service Cross and KVK2 with swords Now why: - KVK2 are with swords? How often civilians got combat awards, what swords are supposed to indicate - Were swords on Tyrol Province Remembrance Medal official device or not - Some other thoughts/information?
    4. Good point. I got the pictures before and I picked up what I wanted. Just sometimes bad shots are not the best do make adjustment. :catjava:
    5. Yes, checked the rules again now.... Very easy to use and very easy to forget as well that they are just few clicks far away . Thanks :cheeky:
    6. Isn't it some Weimar period veteran award instead then KVM? Just checked again. Yes, its look like KVM ribbon. Also I didn't saw any bright lights when I checked again with the blacklight (I compared also same time with annother original ribbon bar next to it). There is very fine stitching behind, no clue. Still looks way too brand new :catjava:
    7. I will try black light later on but like I said.... bad feeling :violent:
    8. Hi, Here is one simpel 5 place ribbon bar what arrived today and I must say, I don't like it. First at all W?rttemberg Military Merit Medal color is odd and ribbons look way too new. What about the needle system and reverse? Toughts?
    9. I maybe asked already but..... is this bar possible to ID or no chance at all? just need to know because maybe it goes
    10. Hello, I managed to get a few nice ribbon bars that belonged to Kriegsmarine officers and would like to know does someone have pictures of them or information about their career? I got all the information about the Generaladmiral z.V. Otto Schultze from here... http://www.geocities.com/~orion47/WEHRMACH...ULTZE_OTTO.html Generaladmiral z.V. Otto Schultze Now next great ribbon bars to have but its just sad not to know anything about the owners .... Kapit?n zur See Julius Steinbach Korvettenkapit?n Max Vollrath, Stabsingenieur SMS Nassau Steuermann Wilhelm Kessel, U-Deutschland
    11. Yes, it is. I have same person another two rows as well. On the picture is single, different period one. Sadly upper ribbon bar is missing - bad bad world!
    12. Thanks Sascha! Now I am sure how to recognise usual Godet this period bars! I found few anothers from my small small collection!!!!! ;)
    13. Hello, Looking career/awards information and pictures about the following people: Generaladmiral z.V. Otto Schultze Kapit?n zur See Julius Steinbach Thanks for helping out! Noor
    14. I tried to check the color on the back... not sure. Looks very very white to me. Maybe ribbon bar was on wash with the tunic?? But what devise then?? Something unofficial.... swords??? Anyway, if its look fine, I mean original, I am happy, because its not very common combination (at least for me!)!
    15. Thanks Rick, This style of ribbon bar is something new for me! So, I can presume that its war period cavalry ribbon bar? Very nice! I can add more pictures in the coming days but the last ribbon is definately Honor Cross for Merit in War, not medal (just checked it again). Sorry again, I arrived back in home from pub late and the daylight was almost gone when i took the picture. To me, when i look it, it looks like ROA or PrAE.
    16. Hello, I got one interesting ribbon bar today but I am so confused. First at all.... there is no metal frame inside. Regarding the picture, when I bought it, its looked fine, just its ooked like all the pin-catch system missing on the back. Anyway, its look like there haven't been any even. Maybe stiched on the uniform? Same time "black light" test was fine. Also it's certainly look like period one. Did they make something like that for Navy??? Also as you can see, there was before ( ) some devices for first three ribbons!!! What there was???? I am so confused and I am don't know what to do with this bar... add to my small collection or not??? So, main question first at all... is it look like original or not? HELP please, its something totally new for me.
    17. Sascha, Your ribbon bar is really nice one! Regarding the needle system, is this one possible Godet made ribbon bar as well? It is so common combination but the quality is amazing!
    18. Hello all, I promised to myself that I will try to focuse more and more in the future to just imperial Germany ribbon - and medal bars but some how I really like my new purchase. And its 1957 year model ribbon bar . What I was thinking !?!?!?! Anyway, its on the way now to me. It's great bar for Legion Condor veteran Oskar Schmidt. One of the first volunterers who went in there. Can someone please confirm his awards, also if you have some comments or information about this guy please post it up! Also picture would be nice....
