    1. Thanks Laurence for your answer. This photo just arrived for me today. I dont know where its taken but I think its from early 40-s. I have to check on the back again tomorrow.
    2. Because I am using one another language a lot when I am behind my laptop, then here is no problem with the "strange" letters - ?? ?? ?? ?? But who knows how I can find letter - ? - Eszett (like Watt ė?? datt? )????? Is there any short code for that as well? Regards, Noor
    3. Hi all, i got new pohto today and I would like to be sure what tank is on the picture. Is it Englsih Mk V? Thank you, Noor
    4. Hello all, I just got a new two place ribbon bar (thank you for a seller again! ) and I really like it because the devices on it. Is it right that they are unofficial ones, what vet-s let to make around 30-s to decorate more they ribbon bars? I actually really like them, because I have not seen them much around! (RickR, I WILL get EPSON scanner soon now. My last bought - HP is so so crap for 3D )
    5. Hello all, I have this small picture and I would like to know does anyone recognise someone in the picture. They look senior officers to me, so I think its worth it to ask.thumbsup Regards, Noor
    6. I got from market very nice picture with some officers and I would like to know more about them. As far I know second from left is G?nther von Kluge and the luft officer taking the salute is General der Flieger Hans Halm as Cmdr of Luftkreis 1 (Munster) 1935-38. Can anyone tell me about the awards what those two got during the WW1 and where they served in Imperial Germany army?
    7. Hello, Rick, thanks for your answer! But I am still sure that the messina medal is right one on this group. Also like I understand now, most of the medal bars with this award are with wrong ribbon. Of course some white-green combination would be better but this jeweller used Hamburg cross ribbon. Also its came from very trustfull collector, who I know, never messing with his medal bars. Because the source I am very calm with this bar . I will check tab-backs soon now Regards, Timo
    8. Thanks saschaw and thanks Heiko !!!!!!!!! I was sure as well and I wasn't even think about that its trackable. But still... who from Germany was in there? Some doctors, some ships, etc? Here is another part of the set:
    9. Here is my new nice (and rare!) medal bar. Prussian guy who was serving his country at least from 1897 and was in China and Italy (Medal of Merit for the Messina Earthquake -1908)! Any ideas how many germans helping out in Messina?
    10. I compared it with my another XV crosses and its really gold colored . "Leutnant aD" or "Leutnant der Marine aD" but nothing else then EK2 bravery award . So, this guy was very careful because the owner marks and also he liked more shiney awards to wear . Thanks Rick and saschaw! Anyway its a nice example to my collection.
    11. Thanks saschaw, I was thinking that the "TK" is some kind a makers mark, etc. Very careful guy! I was pretty sure that he was NCO. So, ten years for WW1 is the rule for a front fighter? What about soldiers who served their country behind frontline? Units main demobilisations started 1920?
    12. As you can see, the owner marked his awards . I think it give's more "soul" to this medal bar:
    13. Hello all, I got a new medal bar this week and I have some questions. It's a nice simple medal bar with EK2, Hindenburg cross with swords and Prussia 15 year Long Service cross. My first question is, what does the stamp "TK" mean on the reverse? Is it some kind of makers mark? Also I would like to ask about the LS award. Does it mean that the owner was probably NCO (or privates got them as well?) because he got 15 years cross? As far I can understand, the owner was probably on service already before WW1 few years? Is it right?
    14. Last one would be Baden "Commemorative Medal for 1849" (Ged?chtnismedaille f?r 1849) . Second remains something from Hessen but not sure at all.
    15. Otsen grassivaja! Very very nice collection. Not so many Imperial orders around nowadays
    16. Thanks for information IVB! So, like I was thinking as well - something unofficial, common and cheap. They are for a trade if someone are interested (also those two: 300 years Romanov dynasty Tolstoi commemorative medal
    17. Hi, I got two medals or Jettons and would like to know what they are? Probably not Imperial period. Are they some kind a patriotic pieces, what everyone bought on the street before communists took the power? First one is here.
    18. Thanks guys for your answers. Must be start looking now some awards for a bars! I decided 2 place leave like it is.
    19. Thanks saschaw! How Bavaria MVK 1st Modell looks? I have just MVK with X but as far I know, they look almost same or not: How hard is to get right period cross? I am familiar that there was ribbon change before IWW (am I right? - first ones awarded just with so called noncombatant ribbons ). Because there is a EK2 as well, is there biger chance that MVK was with X? Regards, Noor
    20. Hi Christophe, Here is some another scans (how different scanners can make so big difference )
    21. Hi all, Here is my two new medal bars. This time older ones! Firts one is realy great, real Bavaria combat vet one. I would like to know what Bavaria award is the first one (what I have to start chasing now ). 1. ????? 2. EK2 1870 3. Franco Prussia war commemorative medal 4. Bavaria, War against Austria cross 1866 Second one is strange. Its defenitley pre war one. Is it right that there is only: 1. Order of the Red Eagle (what would match better 4th or 3rd class?) 2. Imperial Russia Order of the Stanislav (probably without swords?) All comments are welcome! Regards, Noor
    22. Hi, Regarding those two medal bars I think second one is still good. Maybe this scan shows ribbons more shiney then its looks on hand. Second one - I dont like those ribbons and especially wrapping as well. But same time, who ever put it together.... why to do something like that for a sale then sell those common awards separatly and get more money then I paid for a set? It was very reasonable price for that anyway! Thats the main reason why I got it. Thanks for information and links! Dave Danner web page is one of my favorite a long time already! I think I have already basic info of awards, I know awarding criterias mainly (what is one of the basic things) and also I had last year when ever I can research different those basic links (gmic is my favorite because detail answers!). Its bitty that there is no books about awarding regulations, etc. But same time I have this fun now, to research myself! What I also like to know more is about the imperial Germany army structure and units. If someone knows some book, please let me know. Also how the dL and dR worked over the I WW period. I will post some my new bars here tomorrow. One of them maybe can be named some moment!
