I think I did right decision to get those pictures from the market and I will go and try to look today a little bit more because there was lots of trash in the boxes, where they was and I didnt had much time to look.
    4. Hi all, I got yesterday on the regular market some pictures. I dont collect pictures but I liked them, so I bought few. When someone have any ideas about the uniforms, who they are, etc, it would be great . This one helmet looks old WW1 period M16 model to me. Also what Luft. truck it is in the next picture? I got two interesting pictures from WW1 period as well, so please have a look under that section .

    6. What period EK2 it would be "1870" or "1914" and why there is no Franco Prussia war medal ribbon then (when EK2 is 1870") or why there is missing long service award ribbon, when its "1914" year one?

I love that last medal bar but because just this German Red Cross its not match with my collection criterias (I try to focuse in my collection early age as much as possible). Now, when its not even trackable, I am a little dissapointed . But ones again, thanks for your help!

    11. Thanks mates for info! Rick, to you think this man was member of Freikorps in the Baltic or Silesian area? Good stuff, then I am even extra happy with that medal bar ! I didnt know that Germans got the Imperial Russian awards even after start of IWW. Sorry again now my silly question but I got as well this two place medal bar. I havent managed get any information about that medal whats there? Could you please let me know what award it was, criterias, approx. how many awarded?
    12. Hi, I am just starting to learn to "read medal bars". Maybe someone can help me here a little . As I understand the owner of this medal bar was a soldier or NCO from Saxony. He served in the army before WWI (Imperial Russia medal), fought bravely on the front line (swords with Hindenburg cross and EK2 and FAM) and survive the war (Hindenburg cross). Is this correct?

    15. Here is something new that I got today by post and wanted to share with anothers. Imperial Germany-Finnish medal bar with two Finnish Liberation war medals: 1. Commemorative Medal of the War of Liberation (Vapaussodan Muistomitali) 2. Cross of Liberty, Medal of Liberty, 1st Class, (1. Luokan Vapaudenmitali), some brave man, who fought in Finland, got it probably:
    16. Thanks saschaw! I have one medal bar with St. Anna ribbon myself and its look same of course. But is it make sense? Did Austrians awarded this award to the Imperial Russian persons with St Anna ribbon (what was main ribbon for a Russian awards for non citizens, like I understand ). Same time this award was with different ribbons anyway? Maybe for Imperial Russia persons got them with St. Anna ribbon? Can someone give more information, I would be very thankful?
    17. Jubilee Decoration Cross Franz Joseph's 60th Anniversary 1848-1908 But is it for civil officials (Jubil?umskreuz f?r Zivilstaatsbedienstete)? I understood that there is supposed to be a plain red ribbon on it. I like to sell this item because I am not collecting Austria Hungary stuff but just it would be interesting to know about this ribbon.
    18. Hi, My two are here. Left one with the text on the rim. Right one without. and here is noncombatand one without text. My question: is there also noncombatants medals with this text or all "AUS EROBERTEM GESCHUETZ" one awarded just 12th and 14th June 1871 parade?
