    1. Gentlemen, here comes a scarce item. It?s an original Princess Mary Box from 1914 INCLUDING the cigarettes, the Princess Mary xmas letter and the tobacco ! This beautiful box reminds me always of the famous christmas truce in 1914. British soldiers changed these boxes and the cigarettes for german belt buckles. It?s pretty rare, because you find them normally without the content. I hope this is the correct section. But this box is definitely a part of the british equipment, isn?t it ? Unfortunately I?m a non smoker... Best regards; Flyingdutchman For more infos about the christmas truce 1914 please see: http://www.worldwar1.com/heritage/xmast.htm or http://www.firstworldwar.com/features/christmastruce.htm About the box: http://www.kinnethmont.co.uk/1914-1918_fil...as-box-1914.htm
    2. Hi Paul, from where I sit it looks like a reissued M35 helmet. It could be a former KM helmet as you stated, but I?m not sure. The Heer eagle looks good to me. I can?t figure out from the photos whether the first decal is KM or not. I post a Heer eagle and KM eagle of my collection here to compare. A KM eagle has to have a deep golden tone. The maker stamp has to be on the right inside near the D rings. From the pics it could be an ET 64 or 66 ??? I believe that your helmet was reissued in 1940. The germans put a textured camo on it with a new eagle decal sitting atop of the camo. After decades the camo had partly gone and the first eagle reappeared. Just my 2 cents. Regards; Flyingdutchman
    3. Gentlemen, here comes my Lacher & Co (Laco) Beobachter Uhr. This watch is in mint condition with its original box ! Ultra rare in this condition with the box and matching numbers. Works perfectly, it is one of my favourites. Enjoy this beautiful watch. Regards; Flyingdutchman crown screw back the famous movement
    4. Hi Paul, this seems to be an interesting helmet. I really would love to see more shots. Unfortunately your pictures aren?t that good. Don?t use a direct flash. Best results you?ll have outside during sunshine in the shadow imo. Could you please post also pics from the liner, please ? Genuine triple decal helmets are rare as snow in hell and of course desirable for collectors. Thanks in advance ! Regards; Flyingdutchman
    5. Gentlemen, some of you may have seen this already but I thought I could post here. This is an M35 Heer with textured camouflage finish. The helmet is dated 1937. It?s a nice camo lid that appeared in Thomas Kiblers reference book ?Combat Helmets? on page 14/15. It?s a SE66 (Saechsische Emaillier- und Stanzwerke) with an aluminium ring marked with B&C Berlin (Biedermann & Czarnikow) 1937. The leather liner has an early large size stamp ?58?. The helmet shows traces of the original double decals but has had the Wehrmacht Heer decal applied over top of the camouflage finish rather than painting around the original. I believe this is quite scarce. You can easily recognize the traces of the applegreen colour under the textured camouflage painting. It?s amazing how the camo works. Compared with an applegreen and shiny helmet this one is nearly invisible in the green. I like these worn and salty combat helmets best. I don?t dare to post pics from Kibler?s book. I don?t want to violate any copyrights. Please forgive too many pictures, but I was so excited about this lid that I made more than necessary. Any thoughts on this helmet greatly appreciated Thanks in advance ! Regards; Flyingdutchman
    6. Gentlemen, thanks for the help on this item. The decal is glued ? and also pinned through the shell. I?m not sure about this helmet. They are scarce. I found just a few pics in Baer?s book. I prefer to pass on it. Why ? First, I do prefer combat `have been there?helmets. This one is everything, but not a combat helmet. Additionally this item is questionable. If you have to resell it sometimes, there will always be a discussion with a potential buyer. Thanks again ! Regards; Flyingdutchman
    7. Gentlemen, I found this nice parade helmet made from Erel (E.Lubstein). Leather liner is Erel marked. The whole helmet isn?t mint but still nice. Any thoughts greatly appreciated ! Thanks in advance ! Regards; Flyingdutchman
