She is honest enough as I have contacted her also. What really worries me is the next guy. The engineers general's are not as close as the one I posted earlier. (All from the same person). With enough artificial aging, I am afraid we will see these fooling people. Bill -

I finally got a set of Hauptstabsingenieur.

Paul, To me this is normal aging. I have seen several other pair made of this material with the same patina. At first they looked gold and I thought "General" but a closer, hands-on inspection dashed my hopes. I agree they must contain silver wire. Do you have duplicates of the wartime lt./captain engineers tabs? Bill

WOW! Are you getting all of these? The Navigation Korps are even harder to find the Engineering Korps. What a find. I need pairs of the right 2 in the second from the bottom row. Bill
